Our guest on this podcast was Ryan Marti of Crosswinds and Crosshairs. We chat a bit about hunting in the Adirondacks and then dive in to Maple Syrup processing on a small scale. Ryan shares about building his own arch and pan, teaching his daughter about tapping maple trees, and how important it is for us to stay connected to where our food comes from. Ryan is on Instagram @crosswinds_and_crosshairs and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CrosswindsandCrosshairs
In our first full length episode, I sit down with team members Emily and Charlie Kuhlkin. Emily works for the Soil and Water Authority as a forester, and Charlie is completing a Forest tech degree at Wanakena Ranger School in the Adirondacks of NY. Emily is our resident Management Plan coordinator and Charlie leads much of our implementation. This interview is an opportunity to get to know just a bit about them and their passions. Granted they are young, but what they may lack in experience, they make up with the latest in forest technology and in energy. This is the first of many times you will hear from them. Thanks for joining us and if you want to connect with us we encourage you to reach out to us on Instagram and Facebook @BeardsCreekAdventures or by email at [email protected].
