Pat and Alora go down a could rabbit holes today because Pat had some things to say today. Alora had never heard the term foot in mouth disease before and Pat had it last night with some friends. 
We also talk about how we live in a world of acceptance yet we can still make fun of people for their likes or beliefs and it's ok. 
There is a balancing act with it because judging people is what we do, its human nature, mostly because of our own personal short comings. We make fun of people to make ourselves feel bette about ourselves. Yet we have to accept people for being who they want to be. 
It all sounds weird and confusing but it was a great conversation.

Pat and Bo talk about his first professional baseball game he went too. Actually its his second but we didnt make it to the first pitch before we had to go becasue Bo was having a fit. 
We had a great time, it was hot and sweaty but the game and food and drinks were amazing.

Pat and Alora bounce all over the place and touch on a few topics today starting with Alora getting her first paycheck. That is always a fun thing to get no matter your age but the first is always sweet.  We also learn about Alora watching a new anime movie and  caught her yelling at her TV only 16 minutes into the first episode. 
Are you a yeller at your TV? Is that really a thing?
We also dig into expectations of people and movies and such and how  Top Gun did not disappoint in any way.

Pat and Bo talk about Bo going through another group of sessions of swimming lessons. He has improved a lot from last year and he is defiantly more brave. 
The big bravery that Bo did was jumping off the diving board. That is always scary when you do it for the first time but with a little hesitation he did it well and went 3 more times after that. 
If you can push though the scary you can accomplish many things.

Pat and Alora start off the day talking about puberty and the squeaky voice that comes with it. Then somehow they got into talking about capes and seeing people in public wearing capes and are the business that force you to wear capes as part of the uniform. 
so many things.
Alora also dips into her new job after her first weekend of work and her fear of dropping glasses. 
Its always fun and we are the coolest.

Pat and Alora start today talking about conversations and understanding open-ended and closed questions. From there I make Alora talk about meeting her boyfriends extended family. Because why not. And we finish off talking about Tik Tok. Alora is on there now and posts some things herself. They are all appropriate but weird. I cant wait for the day to hear her say, "I can't believe I did that."

Pat and Bo talk about their favorite new board game to play, Monopoly. They have the Baby Yoda version of it and they love it, Its about a 50/50 win loss between the both of them but Bo is getting better being a good winner. He's always been a good loser but can get cocky when he wins.  He gets that from his sister.

Pat and Alora talk about the time Alora spent at Camp WAPO last week and how it is her last time there. She went by herself and still had a blast. If you don't know Alora yet she is able to befriend just about anybody with her personality which will defiantly help her in the future.  

Also Alora did not know that she was going to be going to an interview right after leaving camp and was not excited about doing so.

Why? Only one shower that week, dirty hair, dirty cloths, smelly, not ideal interview condition.  Fortunately the person that was interviewing Alora was well aware of her situation and was very understanding of her hygiene at the time.
