Pat and Alora have a talk today about a new movie that we recently saw in the theater, and that turned into a discussion of Disney movies that would be bad and good as "real life" movies. 
Example:
 Beauty and the Beast = Great
Aladdin = Dumpster Fire

It is also Alora's time to go back to Camp Wapo for her 5th and final year as a camper. THis is the first year that she is going solo. She has always had her cousin or a friend with her but Alora is brave and personable enough to rock it out solo for her final year. can't wait to hear about this week.

Pat and Bo talk about the fun day that they had together on Saturday. It started out with a workout that Bo and Pat did together, then they went and saw the movie Lightyear in the theater, with Mom and Alora, and then , well, you'll have to listed. to find out the 3rd thing because it was a great day and when I get my kids to hangout with me thats an even better day.

Pat and Bo talk about the end of his Baseball season and all the medals and trophies that he has gotten over the years. 
As a parent I love watching my kids being active in anyway that they enjoy to and when they get something to remember it by, like a medal or trophy that only makes it better.

Pat and Alora reflect on her last 3 years of middle school and how much of a dumpster fire it was with COVID. But all these kids including Alora crushed it and I am very proud of Alora and this whole class, wherever you are, because of the trash you had to deal with. 

Also. Is Facetime aggressive? Is it ok to Facetime someone out of the blue? What. would you do if someone you knew or didn't know Face-timed you? What a great discussion that was.

Pat and Bo  talk about how well he did in 1st grade and how he is excited to go into 2nd grade. 
The most fun part of all of the end of school was the school carnival. 7-10 different activities, tattoos, parkour, so much fun for Bo.

Pat and Alora dip down a few different topics today and one of them are sauces. There was a tine where Alora refused to eat sauces of any kind. That is not an uncommon thing, but on the other side of the spectrum Bo eats all the sauces. So that is a person to person thing.  The question now is what sauces does she eat and not eat. If it was her choice it would be nothing but Ranch.  Which is good but only one can get tiresome. 

Alora has her last rock band concert this week and is singing a new song, "Alive" by Pearl Jam. My suggestion to her was to make it her own because trying to copy Eddie Vedder's voice is going to be a lot harder. There is only one Eddie Vedder and let's keep it that way. 

It was also mom's birthday this week and we had to give her a shout out because its mom and she's the best.
