Pat is alone today because life thru the Davy family a hard curve over the weekend and not to say we couldn't of got all the podcasts done but decisions were made for the greater good. 
Was it the best? I'm still fighting my brain on that. 
We can only control ourselves and thats a hard pill to swallow sometimes. As humans we want all things to go our way, but thats not how life works. 
We have to make decisions based on the things that are happening around us and sometimes the decision you make is not the way you want to go, but the best decision for the least amount of friction. 
Was I right, was I wrong? I don't know, but the decision was made. I have made my bed and now I need to sleep in it, right or wrong. 
Alora will be back next week, should be back next week and we can get all the good information from her.

Pat and Alora start the day off talking about an outing that Alora has with some friend and she chose to wear a suit to dinner. From there they went to the mall. The mall was not on the docket until dinner was almost done so Alora was almost nervous to go to the mall in a suit. But guess what, you wear something untraditional you better own it no matter what you do.  
That leads to weirdness. Do some people try to be weird? Can you try to hard to be "the weird one". 
I don't know, but as long as Alora and Bo own who there are the decisions that they make then I'm a happy dad.

Pat and Bo talk about superpowers today because both of them watched Spiderman - Far from Home this weekend and superpowers were the conversation of the weekend. 
We all love the thought of super powers from flying, x-ray vision, super strength, but Bo has a different look at them and its priceless.

Pat and Alora start the day talking about Alora and her mom painting her room. All kids like to have their room the way they want it and to be able to give Alora that option to paint and redecorate the way she wants it is fun for us all to see who she is creatively. 
We also dig into being special, because we are all special in our own way and we all have the right to believe that. Don't let anyone tell you different. 
Is picking on friends bullying? NOPE! It's what you do to show someone you love and care for them and as harshly as possible. And by the sounds of it, it is no different for Alora's friend group and Pat's. 
"Oh you're having a bad day and want to be left alone." Nope, Gonna harass you and have fun doing it."
Cause that is what friends are for.

Pat and Bo talk about doing outside activities and Bo is the one asking Pat what he liked to do when he was a little kid. And when growing up in the late 80s / early 90's there was a lot of outside playing from:

Pat and Alora start off today talking about the play that she was in and working on for the last two months. "A bully's ballod" It was amazing to watch Alora crush her part and the whole cast and crew were on point the whole performance. Its interesting watching your child act because you get to see them in a way you never have. "Its called acting dad".
We also dig down jealousy. Jealously can ruin relationships, and good times. but if you learn to accept a person for who they are or the relationship you have with them things become a lot easier.

Pat and Bo talk about Bo's iPad games today because he was really excited to talk about his favorite game BattleCats. There are so many free apps out there that it is great for kids to upload and delete because of the content that they bring.  And the fact that Bo can't just do it himself otherwise he'd have a bazillion apps on his iPad.

Pat and Alora talk about control today because Alora was upset about a situation at school that she is a part of and has to do something that she doesn't want to do. 
Welcome to life.
But we break down what control means and how to take a bad situation and make it more pleasant for yourself. 
We also learn that Alora made a new friend this week at school and maybe even two. Making friends are hard because you force yourself to be vulnerable. Middle school is hard but it is also an amazing time to learn social skills and start understanding what is important to you.
