Pat and Bo talk about his first report card today and Bo was very pleased with it. He is not getting any A,B,C's, is all 1-3 and S/N/O. We decipher it in the podcast so if your really interested do all the listening. 
Fortunately for Bo's mom and myself Bo is a good student, as of right now. We can only hope he did not get his dads school gene cause it that is the case, he's gonna stop caring about school in a year or two.

Pat and Alora start off the podcast kind of rough. OK, Pat started off rough. He was up early and running around all morning and just couldn't get his words right.
Well it happened anyway and we learn from Alora that there is no such thing as a cool middle schooler.
We also learn that comfort trumps style and Alora likes talking in accents. We know this cause she tried out for a play that that has to do with Bullying and it is based off of A Christmas Carol. So I'm intrigued.

Pat and Bo make this a fast-ish podcast cause Bo is feeling under the weather. It is Mid January in Wisconsin so that means cold season. Pat and Alora start off the day talking about Aloras poor attitude and how lack of water what the issue.  Listen people, water is your friend, we as people are mostly made of water, you need to drink water to survive. Find a way to drink it and you will love it. For example, Pat loves his water in cube form surrounded by clamato juice, celery salt, warshershire, pickle juice,  tobascco sauce, and one more item.

Pat and Alora start off today with a talk about how life threw them a hard curve the other day and screwed up the day for the whole Davy family. It was completely out of their control but needless to say Pat did not handle it very well. Curveballs happen and you have to roll with them. Do you have to like them...no. But you have to be able to adjust or you will turn into a Pat.
They also talked about being alone. More along the sense of being home alone during the day and night. Fortunately Alora is very comfortable at home alone when she needs to be but ther are times where she does get a little creeped out.

Pat and Bo talk about the Switch that Bo and Alora got for Christmas. Pat has been making Bo wait to talk about this on the podcast because of how bad Bo wanted to. 
Not because talking about it was bas, just that making Bo wait was much funnier for Pat.

Pat and Alora start of the podcast with a little bit of sas about technology. Pat is a big believer that technology is going to be our demise and Alora is scared if that is true how many crying middle schoolers there would be. Our conclusion, a lot. 
We also talked about one of the gifts that Alora and Bo got for a gift from mom and dad this year and that was a Nintendo Switch. Pat was always afraid of getting another console because he was afraid that he would start playing it too much. And so far it has been just enough.
They finish with Alora's temper tantrums when she was younger. She was young and a spitfire and Dad was having none of it. From walking away from her during a meltdown in Target to having a strict conversation with her 4k teacher explaining to her what was appropriate. 
Good thing Pat is not scary or intimidating other wise that could have been an uncomfortable conversation.
