   Pat had a great time today listening to Alora talk about how she ran away from a dog that was running at her.  It was a big puppy. She's fine. Alora also tells a story of Mr Potato. A inside joke between some of her friends.

    Bad Hair Days, we've all had them. Trusting others is something we all have had a bad experience with. But have you ever had to tell someone that trusts you that their hair look like crap. Not an easy thing to do. Unless you're a guy, then nobody cares.
   The truth hurts sometimes, but you have to hear it to become a better smarter person. if you only talk to people that give you a false sense of comfort will only hurt you.
   Building trust takes time, but if you feel that the person is worth it than you have the chance of a beautiful friendship.

   Pat and Alora talk about how November is such a question mark month. Its hard to get dressed for the day and what kind of shoes are going to keep my feet warm.

   Pat and Bo talk about some Halloween History. Not the actual history, but Bo asks Pat about the different costumes that he had growing up and what kind of candy he got and what his favorite decorations were.

Pat has to apologize to Alora today because of how he and Aloras mom reacted to Alora telling them that she wanted to run track this spring.

How they responded to Alora being vulnerable and letting them know what she wanted was not ok.

In a bad parental defense Alora has never showed any interest in track or running and so there was confusion. Just because Alora has never shown interest doesn't mean she can't change her mind.

As parents we have to look at how we talk to our kids sometimes and realize how we talk to them can affect them.

Pat and Bo talk about how they are both afraid of heights. Pat explains to Bo that the more you challenge yourself on things that you are afraid of, you may still be afraid of them but you will be able to concur them easier.

  Pat and Alora start off the podcast discussing if the computer mouse that we all use and/or have seen is when there are multiple are they referred to mouses or mice.  
  Know that Pat is always right. 
They also talk about all the hard work that Alora did to be able to get her first serve in volleyball. Alora was struggling to hit the ball over the net during a game all season and she finally did it. She put in a lot of extra work at home in the evenings to make that happen and as a parent I am more proud of the work she was willing to put in to make it happen rather than the serve itself. 
   Put in the work and good things will come.
