  • The journey of synchronicities and becoming more aligned to our why and true purpose
I absolutely LOVED recording this episode. I was left incredibly uplifted and inspired a few days after and it reminded me that often we need to look back and see how far we have come and what we have achieved and reflect on how amazing that is! I'm so excited to have Danielle Turnbull who is founder of her business - www.dmtcoaching.co.nz as my guest on this podcast. After so many years had passed after our high school years, Dani and I were reconnected and it's a friendship and connection I value and honor.
In this episode we talk about living intentionally, cultivating personal awareness to help smash away the limiting self beliefs we hold ourselves in. Co creating our lives from a spiritual perspective and grounding ourselves in our why so what we do in our lives can be fully aligned to our purpose.

Danielle is a certified coach, facilitator, mediator and connector. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Legal Studies (Litigation & Dispute Resolution). Her intention is to serve and support her clients through challenging times. If you would like to connect with Danielle and find out more about the work that she does, her website is https://dmtcoaching.co.nz/

I hope you enjoy listening to this episode!

  • Self care chats with Kate, the founder from The Betrayed wife.
I'm excited to share the first episode I recorded with Kate from The Betrayed wife. Kate is one of my lovely customers whom I met at one of the markets I attend to sell my products and after publishing my first podcast episode, I received an encouraging email from Kate cheering me on. I was so happy when she agreed to be one of my guests. So here is our first episode, chatting about self care, and the role self care played in her healing from infidelity. I love meeting all women from all walks of life, sharing thoughts, stories, dreams, heartaches and humour. I hope you find great value in this episode as I did. Kate's website is www.thebetrayedwife.com and below is a little about what the powerful work she does with women.

The Betrayed Wife is a support group for betrayed women recovering from his infidelity. Our community is a place for her to share her story and find encouragement, information and techniques to heal from the wounds of betrayal. I've helped numerous women rebuild healthier and happier lives than ever before. My ideal client is a woman who struggles with the effects of being betrayed and now wants to put the work in to transform her life. I love a challenge and partnering with these amazing women over the long term for optimal success.

  • Living more from a place of 'being' in 2022
It was important for me to share these thoughts as we begin another year. There is a strong desire in me to live with my purpose and intention more before me in my actions and decision making in business. It is definitely applied in life too but I think to highlight the importance of it in business is important. We can get detached from our why in business and work in the busyness of it all and go into automatic pilot and before you know it we are taking action in our business detached from who we are and our intention. Let's get clarity together on our values, what we truly care about and the difference we want to make in this world around us and if it means a few shifts in in our business and life, so be it. It can only lead to a more enriched and fulfilled life and authentic connection with the people around you.

  • The value of authentic friendships!
This episode is with my long time friend Vickie Cross and we chat and laugh about life, skincare, self-care, the fatigue from this year, and how we can go into this New Year 2022 with renewed hope and energy. Vickie has been a business owner running successful Nutrimetics business teams for over a decade.

Some key nuggets in this episode:
1.Self-care is not selfish and regular practice of self-care in our lives is important to help ourselves decompress, especially if you are a sensitive, empathetic person.

    2. Skincare is essential and is self-care and has an ability to nourish and nurture our skin and our soul.

    3. Vickie’s recommendation – John Maxwell who is an author and speaker. Leadership is influence. in order for you to influence others, you must know how to value them, and in order for you to value them, you must first know how to value yourself, because you cannot give what you do not have.

    4. We are a role model to the younger generation about what self-love, self-care looks like, even if we are not parents.

    5. Make some time to laugh, surround yourself with friends you love to be around and just be completely yourself with.

    6. Normalize authentic and deeper conversations especially around mental health, loneliness, self-care.

    7. Creativity has huge potential to flourish during hard times. Creativity is in everyone and is not limited to paints and art. As business people let’s take out our creative toolbox and utilize it more.

Don’t forget this year to hold space for yourself, slow down when you need, go at your own pace, you are enough, be your own soft place to fall, know that you are amazing, surround yourself with amazing friendships, it’s ok to put yourself first to value yourself which in turn will allow you to pour value into others. As two people who adore skincare, we encourage you to never stop your skincare practice.

    Love Cath and Vickie xooxo

  • Strength, courage and wisdom with Zygana, founder of Gabriely Zamany
In this episode, we chat business and life with Zygana, founder of Gabriely Zamany. A beauty brand importing products from Turkey, Morocco and Spain. Her products are inspired by the Hamamm culture - the arabian bath house. She also has a range of beautiful hand loomed cotton Turkish towels on offer. Her website is https://www.gabrielyzamany.com/

Strength, courage and wisdom, it's been inside of me all along. India Arie

How very brave of any woman who dares to embark on a journey of entrepreneurship and business, let alone embark on a journey to the end of the earth to New Zealand, leaving the comforts of the known into the unknown and face a new adventure that brings with it all the highs, lows and heartaches.

If you've ever left the comforts of home to plant your roots in another country, you will know how big a leap this is. You're not alone and your story is shared by many.

What a wonderful opportunity it is to be able to create a community so that we can feel supported, inspired, and learn from each other as women in business.

I had such a sense of joy after this video zoom with Zygana, because as we shared our thoughts and stories and energy, I came to appreciate even more who Zygana is and her story and her insights.

There is so much more to us. So many layers and to get to hear a little of her journey was so inspiring and I hope you are able to take some nuggets from this.

We really are stronger when we come together, celebrate each and every persons uniqueness, insight and perspectives as something to learn from.

If you're a woman contemplating going into business or trying something new - we cheer you on and say go for it! ... Or if you're a woman in business questioning your path, here's your reminder that strength, courage and wisdom is in you and you can do this!
