Servant or Slave...I am saved!

Sometimes to love, is just to listen. I struggle with this. I desire to help and inspire, but sometimes...I just need to listen, shut my mouth and just let others exhale without interruption, allowing them to release their burden and say whatever is on their chest.

A simple question challenges me to figure out what I need to do to better know Gods will for my life...

God looks to move in all areas our lives, but oftentimes we do not allow Him “total access” and keep Him locked in a box...reserving God for “Emergency or Religious Purposes only!” The truth is that God loves us so much and cares about ever detail and aspect of our lives. Nothing is too petty, too big or too small, to disinterest the Lord. God cares about everything we do, and so it’s time to break down those wall and let the mighty hand of God work wonders in every area of your life!

There is a blessing in our suffering. The “lows” in our lives help us to appreciate the beauty of brighter days!

I surrender myself to the care of the Lord. I find seclusion and shelter in the Lord. Today I disconnect from the world and release all to God. Jehovah-Rapha is my healer. Only He can take this cancer from me. Only He can relieve me of my suffering. I am powerless and so I surrender.

It is never a good idea to negotiate with God!

Resentment....forgiving, releasing my pain to God then taking it all back...and repeat! The power of truly letting go! The gift of surrender and trusting that God works all things for good!

My illness brings upon the spirit of anxiety and despair...The enemy finds a foothold. I sink into my pain as I forget who’s in charge and allow him to become my puppeteer.
