Bucs fans have had Tom Brady in Tampa for almost 2 full seasons. Sunday they got a reminder why he is the best in the history of the sport. #12 hit Cyril Grayson for a long TD with 15 seconds left to complete a rally from a 14 pt 4th Quarter deficit and win 28-24 in New Jersey.  The defense held up despite missing several key stars and started the comeback with a huge 4th down stop. Tampa is now the #3 seed in the NFC and can move up (or down) Sunday, so the team will play to win in the extended week 18/Game 17 scenario. #LFG

Happy New Year from Beav's World. The Bucs close out the road portion of the regular season today in NJ as they face a woeful NY Jets club. The Bucs are getting Mike Evans back and have their top 6 defensive backs back for the 1st time since THE SUPER BOWL. Simply put, this is an attitude game: The Jets stink and are going nowhere. The Bucs have bigger fish to fry and should pound this team into the ground. #LFG

The dream season for the 2021 Michigan Wolverines football team  ended at the hands of a very impressive Georgia Bulldogs Friday 34-11 in the College Football playoff. Results aside, The Maize and Blue Boys had a great season and accomplished many historic things including defeating arch rival Ohio State and winning the first league title since 2003. Beav discusses the game and season with his beloved  HS special teams coach/ mentor  Peter Reilly in this special podcast.

Happy New Year from Beav's World! 2021 has been a tough year and it got worse this week with the passing of football legend John Madden. Coach was a giant...literally and figuratively....and will be surely missed. We explain why he was one of the most influential names in the history of the sport. RIP, Coach! #LFG

The NFL stretch drive continues. Wins can mean playoff seeds while losses better draft positioning. Teams are separating from the pack (Kansas City and Dallas) while others have big decisions to make at QB (Cleveland and Pittsburgh). The final 2 weekends should be interesting as we enter 2022.

The Tampa defense showed up big time and the offense took shape with new additions and returning veterans as the Bucs rolled the Panthers 32-6 in Carolina Sunday. The front 7 was dominant and sacked Panther's QBs 7 times while Jordan Whitehead was blowing up players all over. Offensively, Antonio Brown slotted right in and was the lead dog in the receiver room. Ronald Jones and Ke'shawn Vaughn totted the rock and made plays all day. The win puts the Super Bowl Champs at 11-4 and secures the first NFC South Title since 2007. The Bucs continue to look to improve their playoff seed in the final 2 weeks of the regular season while still maintaining the health and safety of the roster.

Happy Holidays from Beav's World. The Bucs hope to return to winning ways this Sunday as they travel to Charlotte to face the Panthers. Carolina has a very good defense and Tampa comes in  wounded and injured. 4 players hit IR this week and two other starters including Mike Evans are out.  Ronald Jones takes over the lead back job and had good #s vs this team last season. Tom Brady and the OL will look to rebound after last weeks tough outing. #LFG

Teams like Detroit and Houston continue to play hard while Cleveland and Baltimore play nail bitters.  Each play can be the difference between the goal line or golf. #LFG

Happy Holidays from Beav's World! Over 17 games, every team will have one of these. The Bucs choose a National TV game vs their hated divisional opponent to put on a stink show, as the New Orleans Saints came into Raymond James and won 9-0. Nothing worked offensively and the defense kept Tampa in the game late into the 4th quarter. Credit the Saints players , their coaches and staff. The bigger issue heading forward is the health of several Bucs star players. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Lavonte David and Leonard Fournette all went down with lower body injuries and some of these are serious. The Bucs need to regroup and travel to Carolina next weekend.
