The Bucs could not beat two opponents Sunday: The Saints and themselves as New Orleans pulled off a 36-27 win. Tampa did so much well (Big days from Chris Godwin and Cyril Grayson 1st NFL TD) but several huge penalties at inopportune times and 3 turnovers where too much to overcome. The Bucs head into the bye week at 6-2 and have several players who could use the down time to recharge for the 2nd half run.

The Bucs travel this weekend to face the defending division champion New Orleans Saints.  Tampa did many things in 2020 but winning the NFC South title was not one of them. That is a big part of the motivation as the Bucs face Jameis Winston, Alvin Kamara, Cam Jordan and the rest of the Saints.

Week 7 saw some separation and teams grab our attention (Hello, Bengals and Titans!). Meanwhile, the Cardinals continue to be the only undefeated team and the Lions battle to get win #1 for Dan Campbell and the city of Detroit. #LFG

The Bucs played a dominant game on defense while the offense played an outstanding half as Tampa rolled 38-3. Rookie QB Justin Fields struggled for the Bears while WR Mike Evans had 3 TDs for the Super Bowl Champions. Meanwhile, the offensive line and front 7 dominated a tough, physical Chicago team. The Bucs improve to 6-1 and travel to New Orleans next week.

The Bucs return to action today and face a game Chicago Bears team. Led by 1st round pick Justin Fields at QB, the Bears sack the QB and allow their own guy to hit the ground as well. Facing a defensive oriented Chicago team that is offensively challenged (Sort of the team history), The Bucs need to be sharp and not turn the ball over to help secure win #6.

The NFL continues to deliver and Week 6 gave us thrilling finishes and lots of points. The prime time/stand alone games all had last second scores or stops while The Arizona Cardinals look strong and are the lone undefeated team in the sport. Meanwhile, Derrick Henry is REALLY good and The Miami Dolphins and NY Giants are not.

The Bucs offense exploded in the 1st half while the defense made key plays late to secure a tough road win in PA, 28-22. Leonard Fournette and Antonio Brown made plays all game while the offensive line and defensive front 7 dominated the line of scrimmage from start to finish. After playing 3 games in 11 days, (2 on the road!!!!) The Super Bowl have earned a long weekend and improve to 5-1 on the year.

The 4-1 Buccaneers travel to Pennsylvania tonight to face an interesting Eagles team on Thursday Night Football.  Philly is very young on both the field and in the coaching staff while  Jalen Hurts and Devonta Smith are a deadly passing combo. Meanwhile, the Bucs OL faces a very good defensive front and Mike Evans, Antonio Brown and Chris Godwin draw a tough group of corners. #LFG
