There is a classic song that says, I don’t want to be and old wine skin filled with yesterday’s old wine. Lord stretch me and fill me with today’s new wine. It’s an apt description of what the church needs today, a spiritual freshness and fullness to live the life He has called us to live for Him in these last days. Pastor Jeff reminds us as the church to make sure that we don’t neglect or try to substitute God’s spirit with carnality. As we continue in Peter’s sermon in Acts 3, we hear a prophetic caution from Pastor Jeff to take these truths to heart.
