In this episode, we asked black mommas from all walks of life and various stages of parenthood to write Dear America and Dear Son letters. Their words are glimpses into the the hearts of mothers navigating life for their children amidst two pandemics - a virus and systemic racism. When my dad died after a battle with cancer, I found three key things that led to a healthy grieving process and kept my sanity in check. In this episode we talk about the big three lessons learned. We all have to walk through grief but how we walk through it can make all the difference.
