Dr. Ayvaz is the Director of the Certificate Accreditation Program (CAP) at the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). His primary focus areas include overseeing the accreditation process, managing client relationship, and providing subject matter expertise to all involved parties. He was a research fellow at the George Washington University’s Center for the Study of Learning, conducting research and consulting project on knowledge management, organization and leadership development. He also participated studies on standardization efforts of knowledge management at the George Washington University’s Institute for Knowledge & Innovation and wrote his doctoral dissertation on communicative actions and knowledge creation.

Dr. Ayvaz has also extensive experience in quality management field, such as ISO 9001 certification. He has a B.S. in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations from Marmara University, Istanbul, an M.S. in Organization and Business Policy from University of Istanbul, and an MBA from Illinois Institute of Technology, and an Ed.D. in Human and Organizational Learning from the George Washington University.

While at Warner Media, Abbe foresaw the need for a Knowledge Management strategy to create a centralized and easily navigable source of divisional, technical, and operational knowledge. She launched a Knowledge Strategy and Communications Center of Excellence (COE) in a global division of 600+ IT professionals and engineers. This expanded her role within the organization to include Knowledge Strategy and Communications across the divisions to (a) create process and governance for knowledge discovery, categorization, management and sharing to help eliminate information silos, (b) consolidate knowledge into a new KM COE published into Confluence and SharePoint, (c) Integrate industry best practices and standards and applied light weight governance to help drive compliance, (d) created and implemented continuous improvement initiatives, defined KPIs for monitoring content usage and effectiveness, and (e) worked with senior leadership to help drive more effective KM practices.

Ana Neves is the founder and managing director of Knowman, a consulting company providing strategic guidance and support to organisations and communities keen to improve results through a better use of knowledge. She narrows the gap between knowledge management, internal communication and collaboration, focusing on processes, culture and tools.

Together with her partners at OrangeTrail, she created the the Social Collaboration Maturity Scan: a free instrument for organisations to assess their maturity and get personalised recommendations to improve their use of enterprise social platforms. The Scan is available till 14 May 2021.

The anonymised and aggregated results will be used to produce the Social Collaboration Maturity Benchmark 2021. This year Knowman and OrangeTrail are planning to create an additional benchmark report focusing on non-profits and humanitarian organisations.

Michael has been with Richard Lewis Communications since 1990 and his earlier roles included Managing Director of the Finnish company, Nordic Regional Director and Group Managing Director. Previously, he worked for Linguarama in Finland and, before that, as a production assistant and producer at Piccadilly Radio, working with many well-known presenters, including Chris Evans, Timmy Mallett, Nick Robinson and Brian Cox.
