Ian and Iain ease into the festive spirit with the first of two Christmas episodes this December. Up first, it's Shazam! (or Captain Marvel if you're nasty) everyone's favourite superhero film set at Christmas that isn't called Batman Returns or Iron Man 3. They'll be reading the New 52 revised origins for the character and seeing if the transformation between page and screen was magical or a sin.

Ian and Iain screwed up their scheduling, so they're taking a spoiler-free look at just the first seven episodes of Y: The Last Man and comparing it to the first ten issues of the comic book. Also up for discussion is The Walking Dead, Superman: Son of Kal-El, Final Fantasy 7, Seven Samurai, The Tomorrow War and Dune.

Lessons learned: Ampersand is a great name for a monkey, Yorick is better than Chad McGruff, cancelled doesn't mean dead, and Ian may have gone of topic.

Lessons learned: The MCU is sexless, Iain is an animation guru, artists don't get enough credit and Bush Baby has a very specific MO.

Ian and Iain reminisce about the last year of episodes in their very first anniversary spectacular! Aided by a smattering of guests, they usher in the very first Become the Teapot awards and ask (and at least partially answer) all the big questions; "What are your favourite and least favourite films and comics so far?", "What makes a good adaptation?" and "What (if anything) have you learned?".

Lessons learned: The I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched theme tunes are remarkably similar, Ian is average at guessing taglines, all eggs are multilayered and Bruce Lee quotes can be used to justify anything.
