The duo may be divided on Alan Moore & Kevin O'Neill's original comic, but they're united in their views of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (or LXG if you're illiterate), from the bad to the terrible and everything in between.

Along the way there'll be bad Shcottish accentsh, half-hearted Easter Eggs and a brand new, imaginatively titled segment.

Lessons learned: Sean Connery has not come back to life, Mina Murray is not a Vampire, Dorian Gray is not Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and Tom Sawyer may or may not have painted fences.

Lessons learned: The Namor vs Aquaman debate goes unresolved, extended perfume commercials do not make for a grand cinematic experience, Ian is wrong about Justice League posters (but the seven were still never united), and it may actually be Shakespeare.

Ian and Iain have a dilemma to resolve as they reach the first comic so far that Iain has read before! Luckily they have a guest waiting in the wings in the form of Luke to lend a cool hand to proceedings. Together they discuss Frank Miller's Sin City, as well as Kieron Gillen, Fullmetal Alchemist, Asterix and Papa Smurf.

Lessons learned: The whole film is an egg, it wasn't sponsored by Converse (or was it?), Germans do have a sense of humour and we're no longer fuelled by testosterone and puberty.

Luke doesn't have any other podcasts to listen to, so if you want the hear more from him, you'll have to try loitering around in pubs until he shows up. It shouldn't take long.

Iain is back and not a moment too soon as Ian has to watch his first ever CW DC show with Arrow season 1: Episodes 1 to 6. They'll be comparing it to Green Arrow: Year One by Andy Diggle and Jock, but which (if any) will hit the mark?

Lessons learned: Deadshot should've been called Spray-n-Pray, Arrow can climb the Colin Salmon ladder, nobody cares about Jack's tattoo in Lost and the sunk cost fallacy is the fallacy of sunk cost.

(The irony of discussing the tonal shift within the Marvel franchise an episode after discussing Persepolis is not lost on us).
