Welcome to episode 58 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.
After covering most of the unofficial Dawn Of The Dead spinoff franchise Zombi for most of the show these past couple of months, your Bede Jermyn is going back the original 1978 film itself by diving into a short story that’s actually centred around it. For this episode, Bede takes a look at Bobby Conroy Comes Back From The Dead from author Joe Hill (Horns, The Black Phone) written for his 2005 short story collection 20th Century Ghosts.
Joining Bede to discuss this short story are returning guests podcaster Trevor Snyder (Failure To Franchise), author Aaron Dries (House Of Sighs, Dirty Heads, Cut To Care: A Collection Of Little Hurts) and first-time guest journalist Dave O'Brien. Plus, Dave tells us about the first time he watched Night Of The Ling Dead and Bede brings back the segmentThe Living Dead Unreleased to look at George A. Romero's attempt back in the '90s to turn NOTLD into a TV series.
