Pump the brakes on Kings and recall the Judges. In this episode we open with a rehearsal of Israel’s prominent judges and what the boys like about them. We finish by returning to Samuel, introducing Johnathon and David as friends and highlighting Sauls contempt for David as the rising star.

After coming home from an evening bike ride down a dirt road on a musky night, the boys are a little stuffy. However, we are in better shape than Goliath as we discuss his fate in his battle verse David. We conclude by agreeing we should invite the Lord into all our ways and be content with any response.

Tonight the boys discussed David’s response to Goliath’s taunts and Saul’s offer. The secret David knew is illustrated through a Father’s whisper.

Brock was feeling sick during this recording so Tre and I paused our bible progress and recanted the amazing journey that brought us to Texas and the faith development we experienced along the way.

The boys discuss measuring someone’s heart with grace as opposed to their outward appearance and how the Lord qualifies those that the world may disqualify.
