  • Women-led VC, Sacral Capital & healing broken systems | Brandi Kolosky

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven VC Podcast, I sat down with Brandi Kolosky to explore life, leadership, business and investing from the inside out, and this conversation moved far beyond venture capital itself into feminine leadership, intuition, healing and the deeper systems shaping how we build wealth, power and legacy.

Brandi is Founder & General Partner of Sacral Capital, a growth advisory firm and fund platform with a bold vision of building one of the world’s most successful multicultural and women-led investment firms.

Brandi has a refreshing perspective on investing itself, one that integrates business, founder psychology, energetic alignment and inner work rather than separating them. We explored the painfully slow progress still being made for women in venture capital despite strong performance data, the tension many women experience with feminine and masculine energy in leadership, and Brandi’s belief that patience is one of the most misunderstood forms of power in business.

I was also fascinated by the way Brandi approaches founders, spending time observing how they communicate, organise themselves, move through relationships and respond under pressure rather. I love Brandi's view on healing healing the patterns, systems and behaviours that continue repeating themselves across leadership, business, relationships and society itself.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from force, control and transactional thinking, to conscious capital, feminine leadership and building systems grounded in patience, intuition and long-term stewardship.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ Venture capital is still profoundly underrepresenting women despite strong performance data
✨ Broken systems in business often mirror unhealed patterns within individuals
✨ Intuition, patience and emotional intelligence are strategic assets, not weaknesses

    UNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)

✨ Create leadership models that integrate feminine and masculine energy more consciously
✨ Reimagine investing as relational stewardship rather than purely transactional capital deployment
✨ Reshape success through alignment, sustainability and regeneration rather than extraction

    RELEARN (Test & implement)

✨ Observe how people communicate, organise and show up under pressure
✨ Build businesses and partnerships through trust, patience and long-term thinking
✨ Allow intuition and energetic awareness to become part of strategic decision making

    ACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)

✨ Where are you currently forcing outcomes instead of trusting timing?
✨ What patterns keep repeating themselves across your business and personal life?
✨ Are you building from fear and control or from alignment and intention?

  • The messy middle of career transition & an evolving identity | Emily Chong

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I had a heart to heart with Emily Chong to explore life, leadership and business from the inside out, from motherhood, ambition and identity shifts, to the reality of stepping away from external success when something internally no longer feels fully aligned.

Emily recently transitioned from her role as VP of Growth at CodePath after six years helping scale the organisation nationally, supporting underrepresented computer science students across the US. A discussion less about career growth and more like an honest reflection on energy, intuition and the pressure many women quietly carry whilst continuing to perform at a high level professionally.

Emily shared what it was like joining a fast-scaling startup during the pandemic immediately after maternity leave, navigating enormous growth targets whilst raising a newborn at home. One of the most powerful ideas that emerged throughout the conversation was her belief that “constraints create clarity.” With limited time, emotional capacity and energy, she became deeply intentional about what actually mattered, both at home and at work.

We also spoke honestly about the dopamine addiction of high-performance environments, the fear that comes with stepping away from something successful, and the internal shift that happens when you realise you are no longer showing up as your best self to the people you love most.

There was a softness and raw vulnerability that I think many women will resonate with, I certainly did, that quiet knowing that something needs to change long before you are fully ready to act on it.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from performing, pushing and constantly proving, to creating space for clarity, presence and a more regenerative relationship with ambition, identity and self-worth.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ Constraints often reveal what truly matters most
✨ High-performance environments can quietly disconnect us from ourselves
✨ Leadership becomes more sustainable when life leads and work supports it

    UNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)

✨ Create careers that fit into your life rather than consuming it entirely
✨ Reimagine career breaks as transformational spaces rather than setbacks
✨ Reshape success around alignment, energy and presence rather than external validation

    RELEARN (Test & implement)

✨ Start each day by identifying the few things that genuinely matter most
✨ Notice which environments expand your energy and which ones quietly drain it over time
✨ Allow yourself space to pause, reflect and explore what is evolving inside you

    ACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)

✨ Are you still operating from old versions of yourself?
✨ What part of your life is quietly asking for change right now?
✨ Are you giving your energy to what truly matters most?

  • Entrepreneurs see opportunity where others see risk | Farmer wisdom | Doyle Wiebe

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven VC Podcast, I sat down with Doyle Wiebe to explore agriculture, entrepreneurship, investing and long-term thinking from the inside out. It felt like sitting with someone who has quietly lived through multiple economic, technological and generational cycles, with loads of wisdom to share.

Doyle is Partner at WieGrow Capital & Consulting. From starting as a cash-strapped farmer, to navigating economic shifts, AgTech revolutions and now supporting the next generation of founders.

One of the most fascinating parts of the conversation was hearing Doyle reflect on entrepreneurship itself, not as something you suddenly become, though something you slowly recognise in yourself through the way you see opportunity, risk and change differently to the people around you.

We explored the future of agriculture, robotic farming, AI systems and the reality that technology alone does not create sustainable progress. For Doyle, sustainability only truly works when economic viability, environmental responsibility and social trust all move together.

There was also a really honest conversation around founders and the importance of listening deeply to feedback rather than becoming emotionally attached to ideas that may not yet solve a meaningful enough problem.

Doyle has watched multiple revolutions unfold slowly enough to understand that most real change happens through patience, adaptation and people willing to keep growing as the cycles evolve.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from short-term urgency and rigid certainty, to curiosity, adaptability and building businesses designed to regenerate over time.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ Entrepreneurship often begins by recognising opportunity where others only see risk
✨ Technology only lasts when it becomes economically sustainable in the real world
✨ Long-term resilience is built through patience, adaptability and observation

    UNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)

✨ Create businesses that solve meaningful problems rather than chasing trends
✨ Reimagine sustainability as the balance between economics, environment and people
✨ Reshape investing through long-term stewardship rather than short-term extraction

    RELEARN (Test & implement)

✨ Listen deeply to customer feedback, criticism and changing market conditions
✨ Build businesses strong enough to survive changing cycles and volatility
✨ Surround yourself with people who create harmony, trust and strong team dynamics

  • The future belongs to dynamic not static leaders in an AI powered world | Darko Butina

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I sat down with Darko Butina to explore leadership, AI, dynamic strategy and what it means to build sustainable businesses in a world moving faster than ever before.

Darko is CEO of Reliabl.it, a management operating system designed to help companies lead, scale and transform in an AI-powered world.

What I appreciated most was Darko’s grounded perspective on AI itself, not fear-based, nor blindly optimistic and yet practical. We spoke about why static five-year strategies no longer work in environments where markets, technologies and geopolitical conditions are changing constantly, and how dynamic strategy is becoming less about fixed planning and more about continuously recalibrating based on feedback, patterns and emerging complexity.

There was also a fascinating conversation around the disappearance of middle management and the rise of flatter organisations where frontline teams become more empowered to make decisions closer to the customer, while leadership focuses on direction, transparency and strategic orchestration.

Despite all the acceleration happening through AI, Darko believes human connection, trust and relationships are becoming even more important, the relational side of business becomes the differentiator people remember.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from rigid leadership and static planning, to adaptive systems, dynamic strategy and a more soulful, conscious, high flow approach to leadership, though through transparency, trust and helping people understand where they are heading and why.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ AI is not simply a technology shift, it is a business transformation
✨ Static long-term planning struggles in rapidly changing environments
✨ Humans still seek certainty, trust and meaningful connection amidst complexity

    UNLEARN (Create, reimagine & reshape)

✨ Create leadership systems designed for continuous adaptation rather than rigid control
✨ Reimagine organisations as flatter, more empowered ecosystems
✨ Reshape AI from a threat narrative into a collaborative intelligence tool

    RELEARN (Test & implement)

✨ Use dynamic strategy to continuously recalibrate based on real-time feedback
✨ Empower frontline teams with more transparency and decision-making capability
✨ Focus AI implementation around process transformation, not just productivity tools

    ACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)

  • From near death to building 33 ventures for humanity | Vivek Muralidharan

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven VC Podcast, I sat down with Vivek Muralidharan to explore venture building, mortality, impact and what it really means to leave the certainty of corporate life to create something from a blank canvas.

Vivek is Co-Founder and Overall Studio Head of 33 Blueprints Collective, a Germany-based venture studio building AI-first, deep tech and sustainability ventures through systems thinking, strategic foresight and collective intelligence.

After multiple near-death experiences, including a serious stroke during COVID, Vivek came back to one question: what do I give back to the world? That question became the seed for 33 Blueprints Collective, built around solving 33 meaningful problems.

We spoke about the reality of leaving a stable corporate career, the pressure that comes when the salary stops arriving, and the shift from buying the best of everything to understanding the austerity and sacrifice that comes with building something bigger than yourself.

There was also a beautiful thread around impact orientation, not as a buzzword, though as a real filter for what gets built. How many lives does this touch, does it remove unnecessary obstacles from people’s lives and is this solving something real?

The blank canvas kept coming back, the idea that life, business and venture building are not fixed structures. They are constantly shaped through questions, feedback, iteration, courage and the people willing to build with you.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from safety, certainty and external success, to building a life and business aligned to impact, experimentation and meaningful contribution.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ Fear of failure often keeps people trapped in lives they have already outgrown
✨ High-performing teams are built through consistency and sanity, not burnout
✨ Life-changing moments can completely reshape perspective and purpose

  • The future of startups: from system of record to system of action | German Aparicio

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven VC Podcast, I chatted with German Aparicio to explore startups, AI, enterprise innovation and the future of construction from the inside out.

German leads startup and innovation programs at Trimble, helping early-stage companies move from pilot to real-world deployment inside complex enterprise environments.

We explored the tension between building technology and actually scaling it inside industries layered with operational complexity, legacy systems and decades of lived expertise. So many technical founders become deeply focused on product, though enterprise environments demand something much bigger, trust, partnerships, adaptability and the ability to solve problems in the real world rather than simply building impressive technology.

One of the ideas I loved most was German describing Trimble as the “system of record,” while many startups entering the ecosystem are becoming the “system of action,” building the next layer of intelligence on top of decades of operational knowledge, infrastructure and data.

Underneath all of it was something much deeper than humans versus AI, instead the orchestration and how humans evolve alongside technology while still bringing the creativity, judgment and lived experience.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this was a shift from building technology in isolation, to creating ecosystem-driven innovation that connects people, systems, intelligence and execution as a whole.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)
✨ Technical founders often focus heavily on product while underestimating scale, partnerships and commercial execution
✨ AI is dramatically reducing the barriers to building and launching startups
✨ Enterprise innovation succeeds through ecosystems, not isolated solutions

    UNLEARN (Reimagine, create & reshape)
✨ Create new ways of building that prioritise leverage, adaptability and intelligent orchestration over size
✨ Reimagine AI as collaborative intelligence rather than replacement
✨ Reshape enterprise innovation through founder-first ecosystems and shared capability

    RELEARN (Test & implement)
✨ Build solutions that work in real operational environments, not just demos
✨ Use partnerships and platforms to accelerate scale rather than reinventing everything yourself
✨ Focus on orchestration, adaptability and continuous iteration

  • The emotional pressure behind venture-backed startups & trust | Jason Kraus

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven VC Podcast, I sat down with Jason Kraus to explore startups, investing, trust and founder psychology from the inside out, and this conversation became a really honest reflection on what it actually takes to build something meaningful in a world increasingly driven by noise, speed and constant comparison.

Jason is Founder and CEO of Prepare 4 VC, where he helps early-stage founders become investor-ready, refine their narrative and scale with greater clarity and confidence. He is also an active investor through EQx Fund and Equity Venture Partners.

We spoke about the reality, (including Jason's), that many founders quietly struggle behind the scenes while comparing themselves to overnight success stories that often took years of uncertainty, pivots and failure to actually become successful.

One story that really stayed with me was hearing about two female founders who created a fake male employee because they found customers and developers responded differently when they believed they were speaking to a man. It was such a confronting reminder that despite progress, there are still many female founders fighting to simply be taken seriously in the room.

I loved add emphasised with Jason's “Startup Grind,” and the reality that entrepreneurship can feel incredibly isolating when people only share the highlight reel. There was something refreshing in acknowledging that building anything meaningful often comes with emotional volatility, uncertainty and periods where founders quietly question themselves behind closed doors.

We also spoke about burnout, identity and the pressure founders place on themselves - carrying enormous pressure privately while publicly trying to project confidence, momentum and success.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from chasing external validation and polished perfection, to building trust, authentic relationships and founder resilience from the inside out.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

  • No one cares & why that can set you free from self-doubt | Michelle Johnson

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I sat down with Michelle Johnson to explore leadership, self-doubt, complexity and presence from the inside out, and this conversation felt like an honest reflection on what sustainable leadership actually looks like when everything around us keeps moving.

Michelle is CEO of Metrum Research Group, a global biomedical modelling and simulation company. Despite leading a highly specialised scientific organisation, Michelle did not come from a scientific background herself, which made her journey into the CEO seat even more interesting.

One of the strongest moments in this conversation came from something unexpectedly simple: “No one cares.” Michelle shared how seeing those words on a t-shirt brought her a sense of relief rather than offence. Not because people do not matter, though because so many of us spend years overanalysing our mistakes, second-guessing ourselves and carrying pressure nobody else is holding onto in the same way.

We spoke about the emotional weight many women carry in leadership, the constant feeling that we need to perform, prove, perfect or hold everything together, and how exhausting that becomes over time.

Michelle also spoke honestly about stepping into uncertainty, moving from marketing into operations and eventually into the CEO role, alongside the very real internal questions that came with it. Not from a place of weakness, though from responsibility, care and understanding the weight of leadership.

Michelle described her morning ritual, watching the sunrise and being reminded how small we really are in the bigger picture. The world keeps moving beyond our stress, our overthinking and our need to control every outcome. Underneath all of it was presence and something her son, a next gen leader, recently told her: “Be where your feet are.”

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from perfectionism, self-pressure and over-identification with performance, to inside out leadership, presence and self-trust.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)
✨ Nobody thinks about our mistakes as much as we do
✨ Sustainable leadership requires presence, not perfection
✨ Complexity and uncertainty are now part of leadership itself

  • Money & freedom are two very different things | Being able to say no | Matt Haycox

In this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I sat down with Matt Haycox to explore entrepreneurship, money, freedom and risk from the inside out, and this conversation felt less like a discussion about business and investing and more like a reflection on how success changes once you have actually lived through enough of life to redefine it for yourself.

Matt is Founder and CEO of The Matt Haycox Group, an entrepreneur, investor and capital strategist who has helped provide more than £1 billion in funding to businesses across sectors including property, fintech, ecommerce, manufacturing and events. What I appreciated most about chatting with Matt is how he speaks about business in a very grounded pragmatic way. No performance. No pretending entrepreneurship is easy. Just honest reflections from someone who has experienced both success and failure, and understands that money alone does not automatically create freedom.

Matt was very clear on “Money and freedom are two very different things,” and the reality that many entrepreneurs spend years chasing financial success without pausing to ask what kind of life they are actually building underneath it all. At what point does ambition stop creating freedom and start creating another form of pressure, responsibility or dependence?

There was also a really honest conversation around risk, with Matt sharing his perspective that everything in life carries risk, entrepreneurship, employment, investing, even playing it safe and the real question becomes which risk are you willing to live with.

We also explored the changing nature of entrepreneurship itself, the old linear definition of success feels like it is finally breaking down, with more people reassessing what matters, building businesses differently, diversifying income streams and prioritising flexibility, autonomy and quality of life alongside growth.

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from external definitions of success and security, to freedom, self-trust and building a life aligned to your own values, with enough space, clarity and choice to redefine success for yourself.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)

✨ External success can still create internal pressure

  • Story is the source code of humanity | Why perfect content becomes boring | Dmitry Koltunov Pt. 2

In this second conversation on the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I sat back down with Dmitry Koltunov to continue exploring storytelling, AI and the future of communication from the inside out.

We continued to discuss storytelling, perspective, creativity, pivoting and connection. Dmitry shared the evolution of Arbor, which originally began as a family storytelling platform designed to help people preserve the stories of parents and grandparents before they were lost. Over time, that evolved into a much larger idea around helping organisations transform long-form conversations into scalable narratives, across digital channels.

We spoke about the growing wave of polished AI-generated content online and how quickly sameness is starting to emerge. Yet, there also seems to be a growing hunger for real voice, lived perspective and communication that actually feels real.

I absolutely loved Dmitry’s “10-80-10” principle; humans shape the intention, AI accelerates execution, then humans return to refine the emotional truth, perspective and meaning behind the work. That framing felt important because it moves AI away from replacement and back toward fluid collaboration.

We also explored the idea that communication itself is changing, audiences no longer want perfectly polished corporate messaging. They want to hear from real people inside organisations, the founders, CEO’s and the people.

My fave part of our chat came right at the end, when Dmitry shared a story from the Musicians Hall of Fame in Nashville about producers pushing songs right to the edge of perfection, though never fully perfect, because the moment something becomes too polished, it loses its character. “Perfect becomes boring.”

    The Shape Shift in motion

At the heart of this conversation was a shift from polished perfection and artificial communication, to authentic voice, human perspective and meaningful connection.

This is how that shift unfolded through the Bee Formless™ methodology:

    LEARN (Letting go)
✨ Perfect content often loses emotional connection
✨ Audiences are becoming more sensitive to generic communication
✨ Storytelling still sits at the centre of human connection

    UNLEARN (Reimagine, create & reshape)
✨ Unlearn the idea that AI should replace human creativity
✨ Reimagine communication through perspective and lived experience
✨ Reshape content creation around authenticity rather than polish

    RELEARN (Test & implement)
✨ Use AI to accelerate execution, not identity
✨ Create from real voice and perspective
✨ Communicate in ways that feel emotionally true

    ACTIVE RECOVERY (Reflect & reset)
