This week The Beer Friends are happy to welcome Michael Sills and Matthew Parola from the documentary "Brewland" join the conversation. They talk about their film and their indiegogo campaign, America's craft beer influence in Europe, and what could be AB InBev's surprising new acquisition.

While the guys drink Sixpoint Rad they have to go back on something they said on a podcast earlier this summer as well as discuss the specifics that make a “Radler” as opposed to a shandy. Then they get into a couple laws that have been passed in New York state earlier this year that effect Craft Breweries.

In this episode the guys drank Great South Bay Brewing Massive IPA and discuss our thoughts on glassware as a group. They discuss how a large player in the craft beer world goes employee owned and they chalk one up for the little guy in an international story from down under. Finally Phil has “Tangent Time” and then corrects Graham’s pronunciation as Paul realizes just how big some of these beer companies actually are. Bottoms up!

This week the fellas have a talk about western breweries moving east, focusing specifically on the destination of Stone Brewing Company. They also find a story about a macro they came across a few episodes ago because, like a cockroach, it just won't die.

This week the guys got a chance to visit Rockaway Brewing Company and have a conversation with co-owner and Brewmaster Ethan Long. They discuss the history of Rockaway Brewing, what's new in their brewery, and their Kickstarter Campaign for a new canning line.

This week the guys got together and talked about a new trend in Craft Brewing; the Session IPA. Then, Phil brings up a seasonal brew that he feels comes out far too early. Lastly the guys disagree what is a pale ale and what is a session IPA in one of the silliest arguments in Beer Friend History. Also, the fellas fail to use google correctly and have trouble finding the location of a brewery.

The boys get silly this week and break a vow they made only last week, but it’s ok because it’s for “science.” They discuss how misinformed some macro brewers are while they drink a new summer brew Phil found on his way to the studio.

This week the guys got together and discussed some new legislation that had been passed by the Florida State Senate. The lobbyists from the big breweries are putting pressure on the legislators to pass restrictive laws on Craft Beer. This is an expanded conversation on a topic that was originally brought up in the episode "Lawyers, BEER, and Money."
