We found some time to try those awesome crispies from Wayfinder in Portland. Jacquie and Brian were on location enjoying the weather and the banter for this episode! Great beers, ok friends- what else could you ask for?

Jacquie showed up just in time to throw attitude at Brian- and sip on some beers from Lacey (Olympia area) based Top Rung Brewing. The beers were diverse, and Jacquie's attitude was salty and spicy. Listen along as our adventure continues in the exploration of PNW beers, and the conversion of turning Jacquie into a beer lover evolves!

We brought Sarah back to taste some beers, since Jacquie was busy. Yeah, Sarah from Montana- that Sarah. And beers from Tri-Cities' (Washington) White Bluff Brewing. It was a fun adventure through a couple beer styles that weren't super familiar to either Brian nor Sarah. Wonder what Jacquie would say about them?

Guess who we found? Jacquie squeezed some attitude into her busy schedule- just enough time to try some beers on location at Threshold Brewing! She was hungover, and short tempered, just the way we like her... we got to try some fun beers and test her vocabulary again. That Rock N Roll lifestyle fits her perfectly!

When the opportunity opened up to do an on-location recording at Bellingham's Stemma Brewing and their amazing beers, Brian was all over it. Jacquie was 100s of miles away bitching about perfume or something. So we tasked "local" Sarah to be the "not Jacquie" of the week for us. Oh, Sarah is actually from Montana, as if you didn't already know.

So, Kelli doesn't like sour beers. And Seattle's Dirty Couch Brewing makes amazing sour beers. Sounds like the perfect opportunity to... well, see what happens! We grabbed some of those M Berries you may have heard of, and tried the sour beer minus the sour, too. It was a unique experience which enabled both of us to appreciate the nuances of these beautiful beers all the more!

Does a Baerlic in the woods? Seems likely. We grabbed friend Nate from Wandering Hop in Yakima to fill in for busy Jacquie this time- but we tried to account for her (lack of) taste in our descriptions. We had a selelction on Portland's Baerlic Brewing's Beer to get through- and hope we made her proud with our banter!

Recorded on location in Bellingham, Shanna from PNW Beer Moms leant us her time and palate to try these amazing beer from Otherlands Brewing. They are just about a year old- launching their quaint, beautiful taproom during the pandemic. But they have already gained a great reputation for great brews- modern takes on traditional European beers, and a wonderful kitchen program! We got to taste a nice variety ranging from lagers, saisons and an IPA. It was so much fun!

While Jacquie is out making music, we had to find a way to keep making these episodes! We found a new friend in Kelli- and she got to share some of those clean crisp beers from Ballard's Stoup Brewing.

Seattle's Burke-Gilman Brewing went from little known to the big time in 2020, winning Gold at GABF and the Alpha King. Those are awards for beer, so Jacquie is unimpressed! Once we got he sound figured out, We aren't here to ruffle feathers- just have some fun and give some honest perspective. Enjoy!
