Beer People

Former music professor Lauren Hughes isn't afraid to get *technical, technical* about the wonders of brewing science and her own journey in beer. After leaving a job at a symphony, Lauren changed career paths and learned traditional brewing methods at the legendary Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh. She is now the head brewer at Necromancer, a brewery that specializes in resurrecting lost beer styles, where she plays a role in making the beer scene a welcoming community for all.
