We’re celebrating the kickoff of Labor Day weekend with a song about WORK. LOVING WORK. Look out, mama, it’s “Dog Eat Dog”! This is one of the standout tracks from 1986’s Polka Party. We had a ton of fun with this one (as per usual). John makes up a coffee boi song, because people like hearing John sing, dang it. We dredge up some things from
our childhood that nobody else understands. What does this have to do with dogs? CECE BREAK! Office woes and a new computer. An uncharacteristic moment of seriousness on the Beer’d Al Podcast. John comes up with a parody on the spot! We talk about carcinogenic sweeteners. It doesn’t matter what you say in Rock Band. Lauren gets

Jason Bryant is the founder of the Mat Talk Podcast Network, a network of podcasts centered around college and Olympic-level wrestling. He’s hosted, produced, and edited over 3,000 podcasts since 2008, including his main show, the Short Time Wrestling Podcast, which covers all levels of the sport - but also does cross over into other avenues with interviews with people in pop culture, music, business, and professional sports with wrestling backgrounds. A Hall of Fame wrestling writer, broadcaster, and journalist, he’s covered wrestling in 27 countries and has been the voice of major wrestling events around the world, including the NCAA wrestling championships, World Championships, and the last two Olympic Summer Games. His "Weird Al" fandom started at an early age after seeing "Fat" on TV in the 1980s and blossomed in the early 1990s when Off the Deep End was released. While he’s never been stuck in a closet with Vanna White, and doesn’t smell like Nirvana, he’s an Al fan through and through.
