On this weeks episode I sit down with Bad Year, a punk rock band from Milwaukee. We start out talking about how the band formed, dealing with trying to record an EP during the pandemic, and their most recent singles. We talk about "Paranoid Failure" and "The End" which came out towards the end of 2021. We do talk about some of the exciting things that are on the horizon for them, from signing with Punkerton Records and new music! Before we get to stories we do talk a little bit about their text number that they have established where you can text and talk with them 24/7. I had a great time talking with these dudes, be sure to keep an eye out for new things coming and be sure to send them a text or two!!

On this weeks episode I sit down with Ben Quad, a emo/butt rock band from Oklahoma. Before we dive into their new record we talk about how the band formed, their early splits, and their journey to 2022. Speaking of new record we talk all about "Im Scared That's All There Is", which is their debut record! "Im Scared That's All There Is" is such a quitessential representation of fifth wave emo album, from the twinkliness in the guitars to the catchy hooks *chefs kiss*. This is definitely an album that I will have in rotation for awhile. We also talk about the use of sound clips and what the can add to a song. We then dive into his full length that came out last year called "Rain For The Ready", a great album that showcases what Ian can do. While being synthy their are good underlying tones of emo throughout. We then go over his latest singles "Quiet Like A Nightmare" and "In Fields At Night". On this weeks episode I sit down with America Part Two, a rock band from New Jersey. We start out talking about how the band formed and got to where they are now. I was able to catch them in between their two summer tours that are promoting their new EP "AP2-niverse". "AP2-niverse" is a jam packed EP that truly does not feel like just five songs. We chat all about the EP, from the recording process to the songs they think you should check out. We also talk about the future of the band and what we can expect. On this weeks episode I sit down with Careful Gaze, a post-hardcore band from Minneapolis. We start out talking about how the band from, from starting in Iowa to transitioning/rebranding in Minneapolis. We then dive in to their latest release "Wrath Like Flowers Upon My Brow", a collection of 11 songs that are just packed with not just emotion but technicality as well. Its hard to put into words how I feel about this album but I definitely give it a shot in this episode. Before we talk stories we go over what we can expect from Careful Gaze in the future. This is a bit of a long one so grab a couple Claws, pull up a chair, and enjoy the ride!

We also dive into their latest release "Well Enough", a solid punk rock jam that you really can't help but sing along to. We also talk about what we can expect coming up from these dudes. This was a fun episode because we took some great tangents to talk about Chicago food hotspots, Malort, and just other great food spots from around the country. A lot of cool things coming from these dudes so be sure to keep an eye out and go check out "Well Enough"!
