    On this weeks episode I sit down with the band Past Life, a joy rock band from Philadelphia. We talk about the forming of the band, their early releases, and the singles leading up to their new album. We also talk about working on their music videos for "Cardiac" and "Two Wolves". Before we get to the crazy stories that they have to tell we talk about their newest album Window Shopping Economics which came out on 10/8. It is a great album that makes you want to get up and move, definitely a must to check out!

  • Ep. 60 - Salt Creek: Out Of The Sky

    On this weeks episode I sit down with two of the members of Salt Creek, an alternative rock band from Lincoln, Nebraska. We talk about the forming of the band, taking time off during the pandemic, and the big year they have had so far in 2021. Salt Creek released a small EP in May to celebrate their signing with Tooth & Nail Records. They are also releasing a new full length on 10/15 called Out Of The Sky. We talk about about their recording process, working with their producer, and we talk some meaning behind elements on the album.     On this weeks episode I sit down with Doppelganger, an instrumental/prog rock band from the Quad Cities. We talk about the start of the band, and transitioning to the instrumental format. We also talk about their current music that they have out, their latest song "I Was God Once", and what we can expect from them in the future. Lastly we talk about their first shows back in over two years, one which took place before the airing of this episode and one that is upcoming. As always we end the episode talking about some stories from their time in music.

  • Ep. 58 - Five AM: Shallow

    On this weeks episode I sit down with Five Am, a trap punk band from the Quad Cities. We start off talking about how the band started, with Sam shifting it from a solo project to a full band. We also discuss their debut full length "Shallow", working with Kellin Quinn, and their idea about stating a band podcast (they have already started putting out episodes so go check it out!). We also talk about Austin winning a 7 mile race and Joe's love for a certain artist. We round off the episode with some good stories from their time in music. I had a great time talking with these dudes and the banter that you hear from them is just hilarious, it really shows how close they are as bandmates. Definitely keep you eye on them and for new music soon!!

  • Ep. 56 - Bouquet: Cardinal

    On this weeks episode I sit down with Bouquet, an emo/alternative/indie rock band from Iowa. We talk about the forming on the band, the response they have received on their singles so far, and their upcoming debut shows. We also their debut EP "Cardinal, which is out 9/17. We get a little background on the two unreleased songs "Peony" and "Tire Swing", and they talk a little about their recording process. This is a band that I have been very stoked on for quite awhile and I'm so happy that this EP is finally out. Keep these dudes on your radar because they are definitely going to have some amazing things for us in the future!

  • Ep. 55 - Wanderer: Liberation From A Brutalist Existence

    On this weeks episode I sit down with a couple of the members from Wanderer, a math core/false grind band from Minneapolis. We talk about the forming of the band, getting to this line up, and their new LP "Liberation From A Brutalist Existence". We also talk about their their first show back since quarantine and what it means to them to be able to play again. They do hint at a formal album release show, so be sure to keep an eye out for that! Also a fun a game for this episode is to take a drink every time Mano gives someone a shoutout. I had a great time sitting down with these dudes and to see what they have coming in the future!

  • Ep. 54 - Cities Never Sleep: The Lost Generation

    On this weeks episode I sit down with the dudes in Cities Never Sleep, a pop punk band from Minnesota. We start off talking about the starting of the band and the journey to the line up that they currently have. We also dive into their currently released music, what's to come, their love for covers, and the fact that Kokomo fucks. As I mention in the episode I do commend these dudes on their covers because they truly pay homage to the originals and it shows. Before we get into stories we talk about the Unsigned Pop Punk profile that some of you may have seen floating around. We talk about starting that and what the members of this band are trying to do to help other young bands. Its a great playlist so be sure to follow it and/or submit to it!

    On this weeks episode I sit down with the homies in Common Choir, a metal core band from Minneapolis. So great having them in the studio and we talk about a lot. We start out talking about the start of the band and transitioning to this new line up. We also discuss their upcoming shows which will fully present the new line up to the world, for those that haven't check out the music video for their new song "Idle Hands" (go check it out!). We also hear the reasoning behind this bands love of Hamms. Lastly we finish off the episode with some great stories ranging from a couple crazy shows, can troubles, and a different kind of tour story.
