On this final episode of the year I sit down with Loss Leader, a punk-rock band from Minneapolis. We start out talking about the formation of the band, from an idea to jam to finding the right members. We also dive into their latest full length "True North" and the journey they have taken to finally putting it out. We also get to some crazy stories towards the end. "True North" is such a solid punk jam, from the driving instrumentals to the rough vocals it just really makes you want to yell the lyrics back. This was such a fun episode to do and I can't thank Loss Leader enough for helping me celebrate the year. This is a long one so grab your Hamms or PBR and have a listen!

On this weeks episode I sit down with Jordan Carr, a signer/songwriter from the Twin Cities and his boys which are comprised of his close friends who help him achieve his rock & roll sound. We start off talk about how Jordan started his solo career to reaching out and forming a full line up of members. We then dive into his most recent EP "Rail Vodka", which for only being 3 songs it comes at you in blast that you aren't ready for. All of these songs have a deep meaning to Jordan and the stories that go along with each song honestly take them to a whole other level. On this weeks episode I sit down with Bryan from In A Daydream, an emo art-rock band from the metro Detroit area. We start out talking about the formation of the band, from the creation of the name to getting to the line up they have today. We also talk about the long process that Bryan went through to finally get this debut album out. Bryan and I dive into their new album "This Side Of Purgatory", hitting different elements of song and the deeper meaning behind the album. Bryan also host a podcast call "Invite The Neighbors DIY Podcast" where he talks to other people in the music world. "This Side Of Purgatory" is a solid album and I loved hearing about the deeper elements in these songs, definitely check it out and check out Bryan's podcast for more great music interviews!

On this weeks episode I sit down with Mike Chiarappa, a solo artist who goes by the name Range Life. Range Life has an indie/alternative mixed with lofi vibes that come across so well. We talk about what got Mike started in music, and how it led to the formation of these new songs. We dive in to his debut LP "When It All Gets Old", from the recording process to some deeper meanings to what you can expect overall from this record. This is one record that you definitely need to put on, lay back, and just let it all soak in. From how it was record to the lyrics overall this is an amazing record. On this weeks episode I sit down with Sam Koester. Sam is the drummer for a metal band called Heavyweight from Iowa and he is also the man behind River City Collective, a promotional company that he runs. We talk what got him into music and playing instruments, then his journey into booking shows. We also talk about the moment he realized to turn it from a hobby to more of a job, and we cover some shows that he has put together. Lastly we round off talking about stories from his time in music. I definitely can't wait to have Sam back on one day just to hear more wild and crazy stories from his youth. Be sure to keep an eye out as to what River City Collective is doing because there is no end in sight!

On this weeks episode I sit down with Kelly Barber a solo artist from New Jersey that goes by the name of Wave Break. Wave Break is a pop punk/alternative rock band. We talk about Kelly getting into music, the highs and lows of her journey, and the birth of Wave Break. We also dive into her newest album "Puzzle Pieces", from the angstier sound to working with an idol on a song. Puzzle Pieces is a solid record that is a driving force instrumentally that build into these deep lyrics that that make you feel what what Kelly was going through. Definitely a must listen and be sure to catch Wave Break at a show soon!!

On this weeks episode I sit down with my friends in Say Days Ago, a post hardcore band from San Diego. We talk about the forming of the band, transitioning from doing covers to their own material, and what they have been up to during lockdown. We also discuss their new EP "Cloaked Eyes", which will be released in 4 different parts. It will also be released with visual and story aspects in the forms of music videos and a comic book. The members of Say Days Ago are some great friends that I have known for a long time so it was great to be able to sit down and talk with them. Be sure to catch all four parts as they release!!
