Brentford made it two wins on the bounce as a much-changed side comfortably saw off Bournemouth 2–0 in the League Cup. Coming just days after the impressive Premier League victory over Aston Villa, Thomas Frank rang the changes but the Bees still looked sharp and in control throughout, with goals securing safe passage into the hat for the second round.
