Before the Green

What a race and what a final four that we have for Phoenix! Ryan Blaney wins and William Byron locks in on points in Martinsville. Marilee, Evan and Donnie discuss all the happenings of the week past, and what we might see heading into Phoenix.

The After the Checkers segment sees us talk about the changing of the guard that we're seeing during this playoff series, the racing package that we saw at Martinsville and the future of Stewart Haas Racing.

During Before the Green we discuss championship weekend, make our picks and one of the hosts acknowledges how wrong he was and comes prepared with an apology.

We also have our In Between segment where we give you some serious insight into the plans for the podcast in the off-season. You're not going to want to miss this episode!

As the season winds down we're heading to the penultimate race of the season in Martinsville. Catch all the stories now, on Before the Green and After the Checkers.

The first shot has been fired in the round of 8 as Kyle Larson takes home the victory and punches his ticket to the Championship 4 in Phoenix.

During our "After the Checkers" segment we discuss the race and Kyle Larson's win, Jeff Gordon's comments about Denny Hamlin (and Denny's response), the worst call in NASCAR in recent history from James Small and Ryan Blaney's DQ and the re-Q?

Heading into "Before the Green" we'll fill you in on the storylines that we feel most relevant to Homestead and go over our picks for the weekend.

We also have a great "In-Between" segment filled with a good time and some fairly wrong answers...

Maybe it's the playoffs, maybe it's Las Vegas coming up, but it gets HOT this week! Evan and Donnie have a strong difference of opinion on a few different topics this week and you're going to love it!

You know what often follows carnage on the track? A little carnage in the "studio."

We hit on all the high and low notes of the weekend and get geared up for what's sure to be a barn-burner at The Roval in Charlotte!

We have left one of the most predictable races and are now headed towards the most unpredictable race of the playoffs.

Listen in as we discuss the topics of the week.

This week everyone made it in and we had a pile of fun, and know you will, as well!

We talk about:

Denny Hamlin wins in Bristol (and why he's hated so much)

Carson Hocevar continuing to impress and pick up new opportunities

Logano, Harvick, Stenhouse and McDowell are eliminated from playoff contention

Who our 4 elimination picks are for the round of 12

Texas and the storylines to watch there

We also honour the life and legacy of Sherry Pollex during a reimagined Standout of the Week segment.

Coming out of Kansas we get ready to head to Bristol...and it's going to be wild!

Playoffs always start with a bang, and we're here to discuss it all!

We don't have an In-Between segment this week, however, we have some great discussions on all the happenings of the past week. It's one of those episodes where you just kind of have to listen, you know?

We've potentially maxed out the number of voices we have in the studio...because the gang is all here! Donnie returns, Korey sticks around and Marilee and Evan continue to be present physically, even if they've mentally checked out.

This week's episode covers a lot, but here's a short breakdown of some of the topics:

Martin Truex snags the regular season championship

Chris Buescher wins at Daytona for his 3rd in only 5 races and 28 days

Two major wrecks have vehicle safety at the forefront of everyone's mind again

Who will be eliminated after the round of 13 ends in 3 races time?

We also here another fantastic question of the week from Korey about how we can make these cars stop wrecking and catching air

It's a good episode and everyone is cheerful and happy to be together, so check it out and leave us a review!
