With today's social justice issues readily gaining awareness, traction, and platforms, it can be difficult to remain properly informed and emotionally available while striving to remain a part of the solution. We sit down with Joyce Jugo, BAH in Criminal Justice. A woman with many accolades with a passion for social justice issues. We discuss our responsibilities, should we wish to take part in them, that we have towards social justice issues and how we can navigate constant stream of inundating information at our fingertips. We also discuss matters through the lens of second generation Canadian-Filipinx immigrants and how our upbringing impacts the way we grew to view these issues.
