"You know, it's scary to put a joke out there. It's never as funny for me as it is in the room, you know, but I've just ripped the band aid off and started doing it. And it actually is quite freeing because it's like saying, I don't, you know, come for me, whatever, trolls, all that stuff, or even just your peers, you know, wanting them to respect you."

"He's not gonna be busting out jokes every 18 seconds. It's not how it works. Think about a true comedian is he's not a joke teller or she's not a joke teller. It's about telling stories, right? You think of the great comedians out there. You don't remember jokes per se, but you remember punchlines, you remember stories, you remember things that they said while they're telling a story. So that. That's what I think."
