Behind the Line

Two weeks ago...Raven Saunders blatantly violating Olympic policy by politically protesting on the medal podium. She claimed to be protesting against oppression. After video footage aired...the Olympics immediately launched an investigation.

It's been two weeks...and the investigation has yet to come to a conclusion. The mainstream media has buried this story. No one is talking about it. The Olympics have seemingly forgotten that Raven Saunders violated Rule 50.

We explain why the Olympics giving Raven Saunders a pass is troubling...and how it could impact the Winter Olympics in 2022.

Jay Cutler has been gold since retiring from the NFL. He is one of the few professional athletes that hasn't been afraid to speak out against the woke agenda. Now...it's cost him an endorsement deal with Uber.

We reveal the reason Uber terminated their agreement with Jay Cutler...and why it represents a slippery slope. We also react to Jay Cutler's response...and explain why it's important for athletes to be willing to lose an endorsement deal for refusing to be woke...and not care.

We can officially declare the death of journalism. Chris Cwik at Yahoo Sports published an article...claiming umpires in Major League Baseball discriminate against minority players. He cites "research and a study" in the article he published.

The problem is...this "study" was actually a these written by a college student. We react to the article on Yahoo Sports...and dispute the claim there is a bias with umpires in Major League Baseball.

NBC and the Olympics are celebrating Team LGBTQ and their success at the Tokyo Olympics. Members of the LGBTQ were represented more in the Tokyo Olympics than any other time in history.

We react to NBC and OutSports promoting this story...and explain how the woke agenda is supposedly about inclusion...but they actively exclude themselves from the rest of society.

We also react to Sue Bird complaining about her WNBA payout for winning the Commissioners Cup. Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm were awarded $30,000 each for winning...but she doesn't feel this is fair compensation. We explain why WNBA are actually overpaid...and should be thankful the league exists.

Jake Arrieta will always be a legend for the Chicago Cubs. He was instrumental in their World Series run in 2016...and won the Cy Young award with the Cubs in 2015. However...the media is working to tarnish his legacy.

The Chicago Cubs folded to media pressure this week...and released Jake Arrieta. There were plenty of baseball related reasons for the release. Jake Arrieta is having the worst season of his career.

The media is politicizing the release. We explain why the Cubs released Jake Arrieta...and give examples of how the media used has stance on the pandemic to influence the Cubs to release him.

Becky Hammon has been a high-profile name the last few years as a potential coaching hire in the NBA. She was once again passed over this offseason...but as an assistant under Gregg Popovich for eight years...she will likely be a head coach in the NBA eventually.

However...she doesn't want to be hired to "check a box". We react to comments Becky Hammon made to the Associated Press...and explain how it's refreshing to hear someone associated with the NBA decline to be used for the woke agenda.

We also give our opinion on whether or not Becky Hammon...or other female head coaches...would work in the NBA or NFL.

The Colorado Rockies accused a grandfather...who was trying to get the attention of their mascot Dinger to take a picture with his grandchildren...of using a slur against Marlins player Lewis Brinson.

The Rockies accused the fan publicly. However...once video evidence was released showing the grandfather clearing saying Dinger...the Rockies released a statement without an apology. 72 hours later...the Rockies still haven't apologized.

We blast the Colorado Rockies for their refusal to apologize...and call out Lewis Brinson for trying to victimize himself to extend his 15 minutes of fame.

Skip Bayless made his television career by making controversial statements. This tactic was once again on full display Wednesday on Undisputed. Skip Bayless claimed he didn't want Mike McCarthy as the coach of the Dallas Cowboys...because he was overweight.

Jenny Taft immediately pounced on Skip Bayless...and humiliated him on national television. We react to the brief exchange...and call out Bayless for disrespecting Jenny Taft while she was making her point.

We also compare Skip Bayless and Stephen A Smith. Both made their careers by saying ignorant things in the name of controversy. However...one really is dumb...while the other is smart but portrays ignorance on TV for attention.

Closing ceremonies for the Tokyo Olympics were broadcast Sunday night on NBC. As expected...very few people watched. It was the least watched Olympics closing ceremony of all-time...to go along with the least watched Olympics of all-time.

We reveal the Olympics ratings for the closing ceremony...and show how NBC and the media are attempting to spin the Tokyo Olympics into a positive. We detail how disastrous the Olympics were for NBC in 2021...and explain why ratings won't improve for the Winter Olympics in 2022.

ESPN gave us another example of their bias when it comes to covering social justice stories. The network heavily covered the incident involving Lewis Brinson and the Colorado Rockies fan. However...they strangely ignored the Devin Funchess press conference Sunday.

ESPN staff writer Joon Lee called out the mainstream media for their lack of coverage on Devin Funchess. We reveal what happened at the press conference involving Devin Funchess Sunday afternoon...and give our reaction.

We also point out the blatant media bias...and give the reasons ESPN and the media covered the Rockies fan so heavily...and ignored Devin Funchess.
