Raza Gilani is an aspiring film maker and co- producer of the duo that makes up Creatives Talk Shop, along with his good friend and business partner Carter Snow, the podcast explores Creatives, their lifestyle, entrepreneurship and mental health.

Raza is a Filmmaker and Content creator from Toronto, Ontario. He creates and produces content under his alias VIVIR and has recently been working as the Team Videographer and Digital Content Creator for St. John’s Edge (NBLC Basketball team). He also manages and produces all Video and Digital Media for The Jibfest Weekender and The Bestkind BBQ musical festivals.

In addition to this, Raza co-produces a podcast with his friend and business partner Carter Snow called “The Creatives Talk Shop”, that hosts conversations about the creative industry, lifestyle and current events. Raza is currently pursuing his second Undergraduate Arts degree with a specialization in Broadcasting, television and Radio at CENTENNIAL college.

Although I was born in Barbados and raised in Brooklyn.  I had no real connection to my birthplace until I visited the county in 1976, that visit changed everything.  It was a father son retreat, it wasn't billed out as such at the time.  Saturday mornings were devoted to spending time with my Dad while he worked side jobs in the neighborhood.  I couldn't wait until it was my turn, because my brother would come home with all sorts of treats.  By the time I was old enough the tradition came to an abrupt halt.  A fellow podcaster (Alex Hobby) from Canada sent me a post about Barbados's intention to remove the Queen as the head of state.  Buckingham Palace said Barbados’s intention to remove the Queen as head of state and become a republic was “a matter for the government and people of Barbados.” Downing Street said: “It’s a decision for Barbados, and we will continue to have an enduring partnership.”   Entrepreneurial spotlight Surf Vs Turf in Bridgeport CT.

We are certainly living through frustrating times, science education and rational thinking are being trampled underfoot.  We're living in the divided states of America.  The left is blaming the right, the right is blaming the left; meanwhile the nation is literally burning.

We all have our own personal bias, I jokingly say, I assume everyone with a pickup and a large American flag flapping in the wind is a racist-there's no factual data to support my claim.  Then there's this thing I have against Subaru owners, 99.9% of the time when I'm cutoff on the highway it's by someone driving a Subaru-again there's no statistical data to support my claim.  I don't actually believe these claims, its just a sneaky suspicion I have based on my own experience.  One of my good friends owns a Subaru and she owned a pick up truck minus the flag-She's good people.

There are those in the media who will go to great extremes to justify their position even in the face of being dead wrong, in the middle of trying to contort themselves into a lie the truth is trampled on.  Andrew Gillum is in the news being praised for coming out as bi-sexual, his sexuality was never an issue for me bringing it up now is pointless.  Roger Goodell and the NFL use Colin and Anthony in BLM propaganda piece.  Kanye declares himself the new Moses and calls the NBA and the music the new slave ships.

For the past two weeks I've been obsessing over the misplacing of my iPhone, its an old phone which doubles as a camera/notebook/productivity tool.  A lot of crazy ideas, photos, apps are on this phone so its kinda of important.  When you live alone, there's no one to ask of blame for moving your iPhone, so you tear the place upside down looking in areas where you haven't been in years-but your hopefully.  Well I solved the mystery.

Book publishing is a business, his publishers obviously did the math and figured out they'd get the most bang for their buck leading up to the election.  IMHO releasing the information earlier wouldn't have made a difference, this administration would've have done what their doing now downplaying the revelation.  The mainstream media gallops around town on their high horses as if they've got a lock on information and journalistic integrity, meanwhile they don't call Trump on his racist BS during the press conferences, they let him off with softball questions and don't support each other in getting to the heart of the matter for the American public.  Yet we're supposed to believe they have our best interest at heart.  No!  It's all about sound bites first for their respective stations

We often give ourselves a pass for things that we condemn other for, I'm trying to break the habit.  We're living in the social media the yellow pages are dead, I'll occasionally get a yellow book delivered and it goes straight to the trash.  I find myself getting upset when people, business don't utilize social media to promote their business.

They call him the bridge because he loves connecting people from all walks of life.  Powermalu is an activist and artist his career in activism started after the Amadou Diallo shooting.  He felt called to do something rather than sit on the sidelines complaining so he decided to get involved in the National Action Network.  Powermalu found his voice and peace in running and he uses his platform to speak out against injustice unify the community and promote a healthy lifestyle.
