Sandy Grant and I have known each other for a long time as training partners and colleagues in the fitness industry. Sandy is a Mom of two very active boys, 5 and 9, and one Fuzzy Holland Lop bunny, a wife, an IFBB Fitness Pro, and an Online Health & Fitness Trainer. We talk about our journey from fitness professionals to working mom, and how we keep all the balls in the air. Sandy shares tips and best practices for staying fit and healthy in your body and mind. And of course we can't help but discuss our little humans and how we all learn from each other.
We know that no one can truly do it all, but Sandy comes pretty close! I hope you will enjoy my deep dive with this wonderful human being, and come away inspired to intentionally create a balanced life.

After my lovely conversation with Julia Freeland about her life and her book,
‘Take Your Shoes off First,’ we had a nice heart to heart that inspired a joint holiday challenge for our people.
We all get to choose where we spend our time and energy with every decision we make. It’s nice to have a fresh perspective, and physical activity gives us that in so many ways. I talk about the body and chemicals it signals to the brain body in this one.
More to come on the holiday challenge, going from Nov 24-Jan 5, 2022.

Julia's approach to personal and professional development is unique. She believes that aligning learning, leadership, and organizational systems with human nature and building on the human experience are the keys to achieving breakthroughs in work and life. Through in person workshops, coaching, and virtual courses, Julia guides individuals and groups to discard centuries-old beliefs and embrace primal elements of their humanity so they can bravely leap into the next chapter of their lives and create incredible results.
Leaning on her own “take you to your knees” life lessons, Julia’s writing, speaking, and work resonates on an emotional level, inviting individuals to question their perspective and open to new possibilities. This one was a tough one to do. Death always makes you reflect on your current stage in life and what you are doing. Here’s some more to process!
This podcast is about Accountability. And who better to talk about this subject than my own personal trainer, Mike Davies of Mike Davies Universe? I’ve been working with him for over 11 yrs through countless shows, stages, and injuries in my own life. He is a very important person on my team.
Being the all-around coach that he is, he’s helped me get stronger, better and more balanced through consistency over the years. His support has not only helped me develop my physique, but also my mind, spirit, and soul! He taught me how to listen to myself in the process through his wisdom and experience working with thousands of women.
