In this episode of the Being Human podcast I sat down with bodybuilder, and health and fitness influencer, Arran Aro.
I have been following Arran for many years at this point - he was somewhat of a dream guest for me to have on the podcast. Arran shares his workouts and physical training regime on social media, as well as his nutrition and wider lifestyle habits. He also shares insights into mindset, philosophy and living well in a holistic sense.
What I love about Arran compared to a lot of fitness influencers out there, is that he has what I would call a real ‘health first’ approach to training, diet and lifestyle.

- Whether ‘gym bros’ or competitive bodybuilders should take steroids or not.

- The importance of perspective and making conscious decisions in life.

I harp on about Stoicism constantly. You have Arran to either thank or take issue with for that, because he is the one that originally introduced me to the philosophy through his content.
I have learned so much from Arran over the years, and I learned even more throughout our conversation.
