Millennials Talk

Being jailed and deported in the US

Listen Later

- MORE ON FULL EPISODE: 0 -
I travelled around the US for nearly 7 months back in 2013. While I had a working visa and travel visa...things didn't go to plan and I ended up finding out I had been traveling illegally around the country for months. Especially since the tragic 9/11, the US don't mess around - something which I appreciate and am happy to abide by any protocols. With that, it meant I was sent to jail (yes, with handcuffs, real prison, OITNB style outfits) and then deported. Since then, I've been lucky enough to have gotten a green card and moved to the States. I still have to go to airport jail every time I come in, but know how lucky I am to live here. Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE, RATE & REVIEW!
