This week we talk about being selfish.  A word we think is bad.  We spend so much of our life doing for others in the hope we will please them and we forget to ask ourselves why we do things that we genuinely want to do.

Women with infertility get invited to baby showers. Even though it may be painful because we failed multiple rounds of IVF and will never have a baby, we go to the baby shower.  We are miserable and feeling terrible the whole time.  All because we didn't want to put our needs first and decline the invitation for fear of disappointing the mom to be.  

 

Listen in this week and decide that you can do things for others and love your reasons why you chose to do them.  You can also choose not to do something and love your reasons why doing for yourself is more important than doing for others.
