Randi Zuckerberg has an impressively diverse work history. She’s famous for her role in the early years of Facebook, acting as the spokeswoman and Director of Market Development. But she’s also an author, television producer, Broadway producer, and even a Broadway actress. She likes to think of herself as “well lopsided”, adding that great accomplishments don’t often come from your typical nine-to-five work. It’s a healthy imbalance she wants women in the workforce to embrace. In her book Pick Three, she talks about how women really can have it all; family, friends, work, fitness, sleep… just not all on the same day.
“I loved every moment of working in Silicon Valley and with Facebook. The only thing that I did not love was pretty much being the only woman in every room that I was in for a decade. And that was something that I started to really question and think about. How is it that we're building these global companies, but everyone in the room looks identical?”
