In this chapter Filtch is beside himself about Mrs. Norris who we find out is petrified and he blames Harry immediately as our trio was found at the scene of the crime by seemingly the entire school taking the wrong route to wherever any of them were supposed to be going. Lockhart is an idiot, Dumbledore shows amazing patience while still crushing Snape's dream of kicking Harry out of Quidditch (because that matters).
