In this episode, I get a little technical and give a brief outline into the Nervous System and the freeze response.

Knowing your freeze response and being able to see it play out in your days can be so liberating. Instead of being taken for a ride by your emotions, you get to witness what state you are in and then start implementing the tools required to bring yourself back to a place of regulation.

How to Trust Your Decisions

In this episode, I unpack 2 elements that I believe need to be considered in order to make confident decisions.

1: Looking at your Human Design
2: Connecting to your body and determining how do you 'know' when you 'know'. What does that feel like?

At the end of the day, we can never truly know when a decision is right for us until we have made it. But if we can start making decisions from an embodied place, then I believe that we can never truly go wrong.

The more I understand about emotions, the more I realise just how important it is for us to learn how to regulate and work with them! 

Emotions are at the foundation of how we not only live our lives and have successful relationships, but how well we are able to navigate the fear and start doing the things that are written on our hearts.

In this episode, I dive deep into how mindset and willpower have served me well...to an extent. 

However, one thing I could never budge was the underlying frustration I always felt in my body. It's like I never felt at ease in my days.

That was until I discovered the incredible world of Somatics and realised that my body had been holding onto so much - for a lifetime!

Since leaning into this work, I realise now that going after our dreams is always a dance between mindset and body work. Your mind only knows what the mind knows. But your body holds wisdom that you can only have access to when you create the space for it to express. 

And until you create a relationship with the body, it can feel like you are always pushing a rock uphill.
