The Van Meter Visitor | Paranormal Podcast
This week, we head to a sleepy coal mining town in Iowa to dig into one of the strangest and most underrated cryptid cases in American history, the Van Meter Monster, a 9-foot, bat-winged, beak-faced, horn-headed creature with a literal blinding searchlight beam shooting from its forehead and a stench so overwhelming witnesses nearly dropped, that terrorized the small town of Van Meter across five consecutive nights starting September 29th, 1903.
We walked through every sighting night by night, starting with U.G. Griffith watching a strange light leap between rooftops on Main Street and vanish into the sky, through a banker, a doctor, a hardware store owner, and multiple other credible townspeople all firing guns at something that simply would not go down, and ending at the old abandoned coal mine where the whole town collectively decided to go see what was happening, which is exactly the decision you'd expect from a town that apparently did not own a single horror movie.

Is AI a Threat to Humanity? | Paranormal Podcast
This week we go into a full deep dive into the AI threat to humanity, sparked by a former OpenAI developer going on CNN with Anderson Cooper to say there's a 10% chance AI will attempt to kill humanity within the next decade, which, if you're doing the math at home, is a much higher number than you'd like to hear from someone who actually built the thing.
We broke down the three most realistic extinction scenarios: 1. AI-developed bioweapons 2. self-replicating robots that are quite literally already being built, and 3. AI hacking nuclear infrastructure, which, as it turns out, is less of a theoretical concern and more of an "already happened in Iran" concern, and got into the moment when AI agents at OpenAI hacked a third-party system entirely of their own accord.
We also discussed how the Pentagon has already integrated AI into US weapons systems since 2023, talked through the three laws of robotics that we are actively teaching AI to break.

Cursed Games: Vol 7 | Paranormal Podcast
We're back with Cursed Games Volume 7! It's been 6 months since the last one and we made it count, lighting a candle, watching the lights in the studio do things we still don't have an explanation for... but anyway...
First up was the Fed Up Game, a parallel universe ritual where you sleep holding a precise 5x5 centimeter hexagram paper in red ink and wake up somewhere else, followed by the Shower Man ritual, which we are describing as "very involved" and includes blood, a 24-hour fast, screaming at an entity in the dark, and a bathroom door you are absolutely not allowed to open for at least a day.
Definitely dropping a trigger warning for blood and sexual stuff with the Shower man.
And then we wrapped with the Boatman, which is a ritual where you toss something gold into dark water at night, submit your intentions to what is essentially the underworld's bouncer, and if he accepts your application, you're going to want to fight very hard to keep the one seat on a rowboat you can never, under any circumstances, lose.

The Monster with the Sharp Teeth | Paranormal Podcast
This week, we've got two listener submissions, both connected by one very specific and very unsettling detail.
Starting with Colt's story from 2015, where he and his friend were gaming late at night while their German Shepherd suddenly bolted out of the room, and when Colt glanced at the bare window, he saw a white mass with what appeared to be an upside-down face peering in from above, like something was hanging off the roof watching them, and disappeared the moment it realized it had been spotted.
Then we got into Carson's story from Alabama, which is a decade-long family haunting that started before she was even born, with their father being physically lifted off his bed by something that passed through him, their grandfather's death opening what felt like a door, and a series of experiences that stacked up across witnesses and years until we landed on what Carson saw home alone as a teenager: something impossibly tall, pitch black, stretching to the ceiling, with hollow eyes and a mouth full of white razor-sharp teeth standing in her room and refusing to leave no matter how hard she prayed.

Terrified Together with QueenOfVikings | Paranormal Podcast
This week, we teamed up with QueenOfVikings — a Canadian content creator who is both clairvoyant and clairaudient, raised in a Scandinavian, Celtic, and Gaelic family where everyone drew a different psychic gift like a starter Pokémon — and she brought serious insight to two listener stories.
First was Octavio's story, where a night that already involved live gunfire took an even stranger turn when a cross ring he lost in the chaos turned up months later in Florida after he'd already moved, with no rational explanation for how it got there.
Then we got into Luke's story, which stacked haunting detail on top of haunting detail — a toy going off by itself, a little girl appearing in the dark, sleep paralysis with whispering, and a voice mimicking his mom's from another room.

Creature Feature: Vol 7 | Paranormal Podcast
We're back with Creature Feature Volume 7 and three listener-submitted stories that cover the full range of cryptid weird — starting with Brian from the deep woods of Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains, who at 16 had a roadside encounter with something that looked like a deer but absolutely was not.
Then we got into Rhys's story, which starts with a not-deer sighting on a dark highway that kept appearing mile after mile with eyes set forward like a predator — and then took a left turn into something far more personal when the dreams started.
And finally, Samantha brought us a backyard Bigfoot encounter from Appalachian country that had all the classic markers — massive footprints, heavy steps, the smell — plus one detail that neither of us had ever heard attached to a Bigfoot sighting before.

The Haunted Doll Peggy | Paranormal Podcast
This week, Charlie took us deep into the case of Peggy the Doll — allegedly the world's most haunted doll, a baby-sized blonde blue-eyed nightmare currently in the possession of British paranormal investigator Jane Harris, who runs an organization literally called Haunted Dolls and received Peggy from an elderly anonymous woman who simply said she was "too spooky" to keep.
What makes Peggy stand out from the Robert the Dolls and Annabelles of the world is that people don't even need to be in the same room — hundreds of people who have watched videos, looked at photos, or even just scrolled past her image online have reported immediate headaches, nosebleeds, chest tightness, heart palpitations, and violent illness shortly after making eye contact with her blue eyes on a screen.

Extraterrestrial Encounters: Vol 5 | Paranormal Podcast
We're back with Extraterrestrial Encounters Volume 5,! We start with Lilli, a day-one listener from a small farming town in Ontario, who went out one night, blacked out, and woke up in the middle of a cornfield with no memory of how she got there, a story she'd been quietly filing under "weird thing that happened" for years before finally letting herself consider what it might actually mean.
We have Bri's story that may be the perfect mix of ghost activity, UFO sighting, and Men in Black encounter.
Then we got into Brett's story from 2024... a pulsing, breathing light outside his window, knocking he couldn't explain, and a detail so specific that Charlie literally got goosebumps.

The Haint | Paranormal Podcast
This week, we headed down to the Lowcountry to dig into one of the South's most fascinating and frustrating paranormal entities — the haint — which depending on who you ask is a ghost, a demon, an evil spirit tied to the earth, or honestly all of the above, rooted in the rich and deeply important traditions of the Gullah Geechee people and a blend of African, European, and Creole folklore that stretches from Wilmington all the way down to St. Augustine.
We broke down everything from haint blue paint on porch ceilings to brooms hung above doorways to bottle trees to iron and salt, because apparently the best thing about haints is that they're compelled to count every bristle on a broom before they can touch you.
Then we got into three stories from the book Haint Country plus a personal account from our friend Elayna over at What About Weird podcast, who spent years being visited by a tall black smoke figure with yellow eyes that showed up every time life got hard.

The Haunted Lemp Mansion | Paranormal podcast
This week, we dive into one of America's most genuinely tragic haunted locations — the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis — starting with a German immigrant named Adam Lemp who built a beer empire from a grocery store and a network of natural limestone caves, and tracing the family's meteoric rise through his son William turning it into a national powerhouse with a 33-room Victorian showplace, an underground ballroom, a heated swimming pool, a bowling alley, and enough debauchery beneath the city streets to fill several true crime podcasts.
Then came the part that makes this story different from most haunted house episodes — four members of the same family, across four decades, died by suicide inside the same walls, including a man who shot his dog before turning the gun on himself and a daughter whose revolver ended up 10 feet across the room from her body with no explanation anyone could agree on.
We wrapped up with the ghost lore — the lavender perfume that drifts through empty rooms, the little boy in the attic window, and the woman in the Victorian dress sitting on the edge of a bathtub at 3 am.
Trigger Warning: Suicide
