God wants us to find our identity—our worth and purpose—only in Jesus (Philippians 4:11-13). In a world of connectivity where we see the highlight reels of everyone’s lives it is easy to compare our every day scenes to everyone’s highlights. Because technology has connected us to everyone, everywhere, all the time, we live in a place of discontentment with our current status, and even jealousy as we compare ourselves to others. We will defeat our problems of jealousy and comparison as we seek to understand and apply biblical truth.
