Dan was a respected journalist, campaigner, podcaster and Liverpool supporter who passed away in 2023. The Dan Kay Foundation has since been set up in his name to help tackle the stigma around mental health, as well as to provide support and infrastructure to families affected. 

And The Dan Kay Foundation, along with Reach Sport, is behind the release of LFC Stories, a book pulling together the very best of Dan’s brilliant long reads about the lives of players from legends such as Steven Gerrard and John Aldridge to Andy Carroll and even Mario Balotelli. Proceeds from the book’s sale will go towards the foundation.
