  • Episode 95: MLB playoff locations decided, high and very low points from NFL week 1,, Bank or Tank week 2.

With several months to plan, and only 2 weeks left to the 2020 MLB regular season, the League announced on Tuesday their plan for this year's playoffs. While the plan they approved makes sense, there are some things about the way MLB handled this that really bother us.

Week 1 in the NFL saw, as usual, a wide range of highs and lows. How did Tom Brady do in his Buccaneers debut? Are the Bears regretting their decision on Mitch Trubisky? How bad do the Eagles and Colts feel after losing to the Jaguars and Washington Football Team? We of course give our thoughts on all of these, and more.

And finally, we give you our picks for Bank or Tank week 2.

  • Episode 93: MLB Trade Deadline winner, Major Jaguars news, Mixon staying put, Kamara on the move?

The MLB trade deadline has come and gone. While several teams made deadline deals, none made an impression the way the San Diego Padres did. They appeared to have gone all in trying to win it this season. Find out what we think of their moves, and chances going forward.

Within the last 48 hours the Jacksonville Jaguars have not only traded superstar Defensive End Yannick Ngakoue for far less value than they should have. But they also completely cut ties with former first round pick Leonard Fournette. The latter of which really came out of nowhere. What exactly are the Jags trying to accomplish, if they even know?

Bengals RB Joe Mixon and Lions LT Taylor Decker both recently signed lucrative new contract extensions. One could wonder if news of these contracts, as well as others over the last few weeks. Are the reason for the apparent discontent, and even alleged trade talks, between Alvin Kamara and the New Orleans Saints. We discuss all of the above and more in this episode.

  • Episode 91: Ravens cut Earl Thomas, Excessive injuries in Tampa Bay, more problems with "The Process"

Just one season after signing a big free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens, safety Ear Thomas was released on Monday. This comes shortly after he had an altercation with a team mate at practice and was sent home. It seems very unlikely that the Ravens chose to move on just because of this one incident. We discuss what else may have happened to lead to Earls early departure.

While the Tampa Bay rays are one of the best examples of how small market teams can be competitive with minimal resources, they have suffered an unusually high number of injuries to their pitching staff. This may just be bad luck, but we believe there is a far more manageable reason for the misfortune.

And after another disappointing end to a season, the Philadelphia 76ers "Process" seems more broken than ever, and in desperate need for an overhaul.

  • Episode 90: MLB vs. Fun, Mets have positive tests, the difference between cancel culture and common decency

MLB continues its war against its players showing any personality at all. Recently it was Fernando Tatis Jr. attempting to actually enjoy the game, and now Trevor Bauer has made the mistake of once again having a personality. Why does baseball not know how to market controversy?

The New York Mets have had to postpone their next 2 series as a result of positive Covid 19 tests in the clubhouse. Why do we now believe baseball will finish the season no matter what?

And we conclude this episode with 2 different situations from the last few days. One is an example of cancel culture running amuck, the other is simple common decency. We won't spoil this one here, but promise this one is a little more opinionated then most segments.
