Travelling in to London for a four days coaching meetings, I wanted to grab these thoughts on how we can bring an end to the culture of presentism either in your team or in the company. The ‘first in, last out’ thinking can have a challenging effect at home, so what might we do to address it?

I thought it’d be really useful to share two powerful techniques to defeat your child’s nightmares. Children have powerful visual imaginations and can come up with some scary scenarios but there are techniques and methods that can really make an impact and help them defeat the nightmares and put an end to the bad dreams. I carry on the conversation I had yesterday regarding overpraising. Adding more reasons why we need to be honest, respectful and authentic with our feedback to our children. Why I Don’t Laugh at my Kids’ Bad Jokes | This is a bit of a raw podcast in as much as I am riffing on the idea of overpraising. And it starts with why I don’t laugh at my kids’ bad jokes. It’s not about being harsh, it’s about finding ways to help them improve the joke. Because I’m not convinced that laughing at the bad joke is going to be good for them in the long term.
