Finally Bennis the #Alien made it into a video thumbnail graphic lol. In today's episode we dive pretty deep into the latest current event that's all over social media; the Las Vegas UFO event that was captured by a police body cam. Not only was it captured on the police cam, but minutes after the #UFO was seen flying overhead, there was a 911 call that came in and someone claimed there was a craft that crashed in their back yard and there were 2 #giant beings lurking around their property. It's a pretty wild story and it was even in the news. But on social media people are really going wild over this latest Alien encounter. Here at Bennis The Menace we know these beings are not some creatures from another planet. As #Christians we know they're actually #demons or #fallenangels, some speculated they might even be #Nephilim. Almost all the #ancientcivilization recorded engaging with such beings. The ancient #Egyptians, the #Mayans, the Native Americans, almost every major ancient culture has records of similar encounters. They weren't called Aliens back then. They became their gods and were worshiped by the ones they appeared to. It's likely that's exactly what will happen again when they appear in the modern era. But chances are it's what the Bible describes as the #EndTimes and there will be a demonic one world order that arises under the guise of an alien #galacticfederation union that will usher in the antichrist and the inevitable #secondcoming of #Jesus and the destruction of the world. Other than that, we also come up with a pretty cool idea for the show on the fly. We're praying about having Dennis take my camper van and travel around the country for a month while abiding by everything the Bible tells us to do as Christians. We've got another fun one! In this episode we talk about a few #taboo topics both in the #christian community and also in the secular world. I always try and emphasize in our videos that we are not #bible teachers or pastors! We are just 2 buddies having conversations out loud and y'all are eavesdropping on our conversations. But that's ok. We don't mind. We speak loudly in public on purpose to stir up conversations with the people around us ;) Honestly, try it sometime. It really works lol. Dennis has been reading a book on #demon #possession and he raises the question "can a Christian be demon possessed." In my personal opinion I don't think Christians be demon possessed. I think we can be attacked and oppressed and even tried by #satan and demons, like Job, but I don't think there's a single example in the Bible where someone who was put their #faith in #Jesus and received the #HolySpirit was full blown indwelt and possessed by a demon. But there are dozens of examples where people who were possessed had the demon exercised and then they came to put their faith in Jesus. What do you guys think about this question? I've been doing some thinking over the past month or so, and I wonder, what would the Bible look like if Jesus came to earth in our day and age rather than 2000 years ago? Would it still have the same exact words and parables and teachings? Or would Jesus and the apostles use different word and analogies and reference modern concepts and address #technology and contextualize the same eternal truths in a way that would most resonate with a modern audience? Is this arguably the role of a teaching pastor today? To make the old words make sense in a modern world? Finally, and of course this is where satan cuts our feed and starts giving us technical difficulties, Dennis couldn't help himself but bring up the question that he's been churning over, are we actually living on a #flatearth? I know I know, it's a crazy one to think about, but as Christians I think it's ok for us to question the mainstream narrative on everything! I'm not sold on the whole flat earth thing to be honest. The only biblical proof for a flat earth are phrases in scripture like "the 4 corners of the earth" or the word #firmament used in #Genesis when God creates the world. For me, I just don't see the upside in lying about the shape of the earth? Why push that narrative? And trust me, I don't trust a single thing that comes out of any government organization, which is exactly what #NASA is by the way, but I just see the endgame here. However, I will tell you, I have wondered, if the sun is jus this big ball of light in #space and it's what illuminates our planet so brightly day after day, why the heck is space so dark? If the sun is giving off light in all directions, wouldn't all of space within the same distance as the earth to the sun also be as illuminated as the earth is? This religion tries to unify all the world religions under one #globalist #NWO roof by claiming all religions are equal and we’re all worshiping the same #god by different means. This couldn’t be further form the truth, as we #Christians know because #Jesus says, “I am the only way, the truth, and the light. No one comes to the Father but by me.” He really doesn’t leave a lot of room for any other option huh? We also get into what #heaven and our eternal resurrected bodies will be like. We've been gone for a few weeks, and now Dennis is out of town too. But in the meantime, my best friend was in town so enjoy this awkward episode as we bumble our way though his first podcast attempt ever :) Once he shakes the cob webs and we start acting a bit more natural, it picks up a bit and we actually start having a pretty good discussion. We reminisce for a while and go over how we met and some and how we became best friends, or if we really are bff's lol. Towards the end we discuss a couple interesting topics, mainly what and where is #heaven. Not too many #christians actually dig into this question too deeply. We're told that it is a place outside of this #dimension where we'll be in the presence of #God forever, but is that really what the #Bible says? Is that really where we'll spend #eternity as believers? That's kind of what most Christinas believe when they think about heaven. But is that really what the Bible says our eternal state will look like? When posed the question, my buddy freezes and you can see on his face that he never actually took a second to think through the biblical concept of heaven. This leads into a pretty interesting conversation about our resurrected body, or our eternal bodies. On this topic, you can see at one point that it finally clicks for me personally that I haven't really spent enough time thinking through the condition of our eternal body either. I've had two competing ideas in my head which I only now realized they don't add up to a cohesive understanding of our eternal state. Mainly, will our eternal bodies be like #Jesus #resurrection body where he could appear and disappear at will but still ate food and had a physical body that could be touched and probed? Or will our physical body be more like Adam and Eve's bodies which God created perfect and #sinless and their condition was arguably the state God intended humanity to exist eternally and it's the original creation order that God will reestablish in the new heavens new earth? It might be boring for some, but if you're a #nerd like me who likes being #introspective, hopefully these thought experiments will help you better develop your perspectives and #spirituality too! Have you guys ever experienced anything like this? Comment below! I've never been big into #dreams or #visions or #prophecy or anything like that, my mom was, but I always thought she was exaggerating for the most part. However, for the past year or so, some weird stuffs been happening when I go to sleep. I've known of night terrors and sleep paralysis for a while, but I've never experienced anything of the sort, just the occasional #nightmare here and there. However these last few experiences have been something totally different. As a #christian we definitely believe in the #supernatural, in #angels and #demons, etc. We read in the bible over and over again that God speaks to people in dreams and visions so in my weird brain I theorize that the speeping brain might have some sort of conection to the other side, the #unseenrealm. In this long video I describe some of the dreams I've been having lately. It goes from dark and scary to outright unbelievable! I still can't believe that I watched an entire movie in one of my dreams lol. Does any of this mean anything? Maybe... Maybe not... But nevertheless, it's happening to me, and whether it's just something psychological or something #demonic, I would really appreciate yall's prayers! #Jesus is the king of the unseen realm, so our requests to him will be the only way we can effect that #dimension. Quite possibly my favorite episode to date, this one's a doozy! It’s our pleasure to introduce Kamron to the Bennis crew! As you can tell from this episode, he is going to fit right in! He is taking the place of our former resident #Bible experts so he is a welcomed and needed addition for sure! We tried making this episode a half dozen times and but things just always fell apart for some reason. Finally, by the #grace of #God, the stars aligned and we finally got our Kamron introduction video recorded! As you can tell, the chemistry is definitely there between the boys. This was completely unrehearsed and off the cuff and it went as smooth as possible. I don’t think we’ve ever been this silly and laughed so much in any previous episode. We hope the energy will continue in the weeks to come. We also want to thank Kamron for opening up about his history and his #addiction to #porn and how that effected his relationship with his wife and his relationship with God. It’s not easy to get online in front of the world, or just 117 followers, and share your shortcomings and #sins. But Kamron understands one thing, when we are weak He is made strong. When #Jesus shows up and delivers and transforms you into an new person, you are no longer defined by your sins and they have no power over you! He gives the you ability to talk openly about your shortcomings because he has taken them and nailed them to the cross and they have no power over you. The only thing you can do to thank him is tell others what he has done and that he can do it for you too! Kameron gets this! Lets show him some love!

Ok, so the titles clickbait again. I know. I'm sorry, I can't  help myself anymore... If I had more room, I'd explain myself better. So It's not #God himself that lies to get #Ahab killed in 1 Kings 22. However, God is the one that approves and commands a #spirit from his #divinecounsel, as described in The #UnseenRealm,  to go and become a lying spirit in the mouth of King Ahab's 400 #prophets of #Baal. Sounds weird right? Well, it's in your #Bible, I'm not making it up. Go read Kings 22 for yourself.   We also briefly touch on the recent events surrounding the #Asbury #revival we've been hearing so much about. Unfortunately my mispronunciation of Asbury causes us to go off track and laugh our heads off for a little bit lol.   Over all it was a great chat. I know this one will ruffle some feathers because the topic of God's #sovereignty and man's #freewill has been a topic of debate for millennia. I'm not teaching anyone anything. I'm just reading a strange passage of #scripture and trying to make sense of it myself. All I can tell you is study the word of God for yourself and know why you believe what you believe. When strange passages like this one in 1 Kings 22 comes up which might cast some doubts on commonly held beliefs, don't ignore it. This passage in 1 Kings 22 is just as inspired as any passage you might use to defend man's freewill. So you tell me how it's works?

In my opinion, the strongest #evidence for the validity of the #Bible is biblical #prophecy. Sure, people can try and argue away what we would call prophetic fulfillment as mere coincidences or self fulfilling, but you'll be hard pressed to explain away the fact that thousands of years ago, multiple biblical #prophets predicted that #Israel would be destroyed, it's people would be scattered across the face of the earth for generations, and eventually Israel would become a nation again, and they would even rebuild their #temple! The odds of this actually coming to fruition are impossible.   #Jerusalem and the second temple were destroyed in AD 70 when the #Romans squashed the Jewish revolt. Soon thereafter Israel as a whole was conquered and the nation of Israel ceased to exist for nearly 2000 years, until their land was granted back to them in 1948 after World War 2. Never in human history has a nation been completely obliterated and non existent for thousands of years, only to re-form and re-inhabit their own native lands and gather their people from all over the world to come back as a global power now stronger than ever. It's unprecedented in human #history! And what do you know, it was all foretold in the Bible thousands of years ago.   If this isn't proof enough for you of Biblical authority, in the book of #Revelation in the #endtimes or #lastdays it says that Israel. Hold on a minute, there hasn't been a temple in Israel for nearly 2000 years, and still isn't. But wouldn't you know it, Israel is preparing to build the #thirdtemple as we speak. They already have building supplies in place, trained craftsmen, even a priestly class has been raised up who will minister at the temple.
