Mike Mulligan and Zach Zaidman conducted the daily 5 at 5 segment, which began with a discussion about the Rams going all in by trading three draft picks to the Jaguars for immediate help in the form of Pro Bowl cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Is that a strategy the Bears should utilize? Should general manager Ryan Pace do whatever it takes to get an offensive lineman, tight end and/or a quarterback to help immediately? The morning crew then discussed whether Bears coach Matt Nagy should simplify his offense for quarterback Mitchell Trubisky against the Saints on Sunday before discussing whether Saints quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is "living on borrowed time." The guys also discussed the Angels hiring Joe Maddon as their new manager and whether they'll win a World Series before the Cubs do. Finally, the guys shared their thoughts on the keys to a successful season for the Bulls. (10/17/19)
