Mike Mulligan and David Haugh conducted their daily "5 at 5" segment, which began with a discussion about what the Cubs and MLB should do in response to a collection of racist and Islamophobic emails published by the website Splinter News from Joe Ricketts, the patriarch of the family that owns the team. The guys then discussed the reaction from community leaders in response to the leaked emails and Ricketts' comments. The morning crew also had a conversation about what would constitute success for the Bulls ahead of the trade deadline Thursday and discussed the comment by Cubs right-hander Yu Darvish that he has "more confidence than last year." The guys closed the segment out with a discussion about what the most compelling non-Bears related storyline will be to emerge in the NFL. (2/6/19)
