Carla desperately wants her mother-in-law Christine to be present for the birth of her 2nd child. Christine missed the birth of Carla's first child due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but this time, Checkers and Kfm Mornings is making sure she doesn't miss this one.

At first, Christine was sceptical about whether it was real or if "Doctor" Darren was possibly pranking her but the team and Carla managed to convince her. She'll be catching a flight to meet her new grandchild soon! Thanks to Checkers.

Christmas is better, together.

Rene deeply misses her 19-year-old son Jordan after moving to George with her new fiancé while Jordan had to stay behind in Gauteng for a work opportunity. It saddens her that she has to be such a long distance away from her son and only gets to see him once a year.

Listen as Darren, Sherlin & Sibs give Rene the news that Checkers will be giving her a chance to close the distance with two flight tickets to bring Jordan to her or go to him.
