As a celebrity judge, she tried plenty of tasty treats during the well-attended food festival, and gives us her three favorites.

And you may have seen this viral story out of Georgia, where a 25 year old woman was surprised to get a birthday cake that she definitely didn't order, with a very different theme than "Moana", her favorite movie.  Morning Bull laughs along to the latest details.

Can you believe Rob is actually watching a hip, popular, binge-worthy show?  Neither could Bull, Chris or Steve.  Rob gives his opinion on the first episode inside.

After the Did You Know Minute, you'll hear a funny, if sad, story of Bull's junior prom date.  Unbeknownst to him, but knownst to his date, was how she came to attend to the dance with him .

Bull and Chris try their feet at the "Pop Top Challenge" in studio, to minimal success.

And wrapping up the week is former Allman Brothers Band member, turned Gov't Mule founder is Warren Haynes, performing with Gov't Mule at this fall's Borderland Festival at Knox Farm.

In today's podcast, it's all about the 11 Day Powerplay.  Bull, along with former Sabres great Danny Gare, was behind the bench for last night's game that featured our very own promo director Jickster on the ice for over three hours.

The skaters at HARBORCenter have successfully raised over 1 million dollars for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Camp Good Days, and other charities.  Just another example of how generous and supportive the western New York community is.

After Bull's recap of last night's events, we caught up with Gina, our friend from Akron Optical, whose town is buzzing with the beginning of the filming of "A Quiet Place 2", featuring John Krasinksi and Emily Blunt. 

Following the "Did You Know Minute", Morning Bull talks with Adam Zyglis, the Pulitzer Prize winning political cartoonist from the Buffalo News. 

He was once featured in Mad Magazine, and the famous satire publication was a major influence on his early work as a humorist.  With the comedy magazine releasing its final issue next month,  Adam shares his personal memories of working for one of his most influential periodicals.

In today's opening segment, Morning Bull remembers the passing of Rip Torn, a hilarious Hollywood icon.  Ross Perot, former "Reform Party" candidate for president in 1992, passed away, too.  So we thought the Dana Carvey treatment would tribute him well.

On the heels of Jerry Seinfeld's well received first pitch at a recent Mets game, we decided to put our comedian to the same test.  We had Rob throw out a pitch to Bull to show off his stuff, and well, his arm needs work.

Rob followed up later, and found out that Bull is ambidextrous.  He writes with his left hand, but throws a ball with his right, bats with his right, golfs righty too.

You ever open a huge bag of potato chips only to find that it's half full?  Off the heels of a story that a local Sabres season ticket holder is suing their alcoholic vendors over their supposed failure to pour wine amounts as advertised, we decided to do our own experiment in studio.

Is a "12 ounce beer" actually 12 fluid ounces?  Is a shot glass typically an ounce?  Or how does it differ?

We turned the Morning Bull studio into a bit of an alcohol lab for a few minutes this morning to find out!

It was a summer staple for a generation of WNY kids, who first learned about loganberry, vinegar on french fries, and what a real rush a day away from your parents at a theme park can be.

Rob and Chris share their nostalgia of the day, and take some great calls from listeners with their own memories of the former western New York favorite destination.

After the "Did You Know Minute", Morning Bull caught up with John Vogl of the Athletic.  The veteran Sabres beat reporter gives his take on what Buffalo did, and still needs to do, upon the opening of NHL free agency Monday.  

Is a trade for a number two center still a possibility?  John Vogl shares his thoughts with the gang.

Wrapping things up is another patented Morning Bull food tasting stunt.  This time, we brought Bull back from vacation to sample a pop tart dipped in ranch dressing.  While this was just a twitter hoax cooked up by Hidden Valley and Pop Tarts, we took a bit too seriously.

In today's "Canada Day" edition of the Morning Bull podcast, it's all about fireworks. 

This of course, with Independence Day coming up on Thursday.  Rob bought a literal truckload of stuff from PA over the weekend, and plans on having lots of fun blowing stuff up this weekend.

If you haven't been on Twitter everyday like us social media addicts, then you may not be familiar with the growing "John Krasinski sightings" in WNY.  "The Office" star begins filming "A Quiet Place 2" here very soon, and was last seen at Ann Valby's "Penny Lane" restaurant.

We talk to John Valby's wife about what it was like to have an A-list celeb in her eatery recently.  As you'll hear, she wasn't that impressed.

Rob "Chuck Charity" Lederman was so hard at work last night, that he came into work wearing the same shirt that he wore at the Thursday's "Bass Eye" Cystic Fibrosis Foundation dinner.

Naturally, Morning Bull had to give him guff about it. 

You'll hear next from Kim Rich-Lupkin, the daughter of billionaire Rich Products CEO Bob Rich Jr, and Nicole Ellis, who suffers from CF, about how important the "Bass Eye" fishing event is to supporting CF research and treatments.  And of course we have to ask about what it's like growing up Rich family, uh, rich.

After Rob's "Did You Know Minute", comedian Matt Stofsky checks in.  The hilarious Seattle native turned Brooklyn resident is making his "Rob's Comedy Playhouse" debut this weekend.  His hilarious story about having real digestive trouble on an airplane leads the crew right into their next topic: vacation horror stories.

We're not sure what it is about travel and vomit, but holy cow brace yourself for Trish and Katherine's phone calls about how they encountered puke in a very personal way.  And the funny thing is, the puke in question came from neither of them.  Gross.

After we wrap some personal vacation horror stories of our own, Morning Bull catches up with a true Hollywood icon, former "Mary Tyler Moore Show" and "Up" star Ed Asner.  He's in WNY for a hilarious look at men's health issues in his play, "A Man and his Prostate".

Seriously, it's playing at the Jewish Repertory Theater this weekend!
