After another "Did You Know" minute, Jickster, Rob and Christine interviewed veteran Buffalo Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, on the heels of the team's preseason opener at New Era Field.

He will suit up versus Indianapolis tomorrow, but even he's unsure how many reps he'll get in the opening exhibition.  Lorenzo's proud to host the 2nd annual ACES Foundation STEM and wellness event on Buffalo's West Side this weekend.  More info on that here.

We took some more "Open Mic Week" joke phone calls, then pivot to Buffalo Broadcasting Hall of Famer Carl Russo.  He's back at the Erie County Fair for his 30th straight year!

Russo shares some great memories of his coverage of the fair over his career, and how much has changed since they snuck in through the gates back in 1980.

Morning Bull is celebrating Jamestown's "Lucy Fest", and the National Comedy Center all week, with "Open Mic Week" on 97 Rock.

Jickster, Rob and Chris also got a chance to catch up with Hall of Famer Jim Kelly, as he's set to take in the final Bills' training camp practice of the summer.

He, along with his wife Jill, are in the beginning stages of producing a movie about Jim's life, from his Bills playing days, through all the struggles of his family life.  It's gonna be a tear jerker at times, but he feels his faith is leading him to tell his story for anyone that may benefit from hearing it.  Touching stuff with Jim inside today's podcast too.

The patented "angry man" comic is back in town for this year's Lucy Fest in Jamestown, with plenty of chat about the one year anniversary of the National Comedy Center.

In today's podcast, Bull and Rob had to acknowledge what was missing, no, not just Christine, but all of Steve's hair!

After the unexpected revelation, Rob shares a hilarious story of a minor gaff that his wife made while on the phone with him yesterday.  She lost her phone, while on the phone.  Whoops.

What a treat it was to have NASCAR legend Rusty Wallace in 97 Rock's studio for a lengthy one on one with Bull.

He talks about some career highlights behind the wheel, how hard it is to navigate a street course against an oval course, and just how dangerous it is driving nearly 200 mph.

Just how did Rusty get the number 2 car?  He explains the origins of his number and the design of it too.  His worst wreck, road rage and his favorite memory of travelling to Buffalo are on the docket too.

Leading off today's podcast is Dr. Candace Johnson, President and CEO of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

She announced some huge news for the world-class cancer center, as they jumped 16 spots in US News's rankings of the best cancer research centers in the country. 

A tremendous honor, Dr. Johnson talked to Morning Bull first about their highest ranking on the publications list in its history.

Despite some ongoing rain, it looks good for Rob to throw out today's first pitch at the Bisons game at Sahlen Field.  We caught the latest forecast from WGRZ meteorologist Pat Hammer, and the set up details from Bisons rep Brad Bisbing.

Things turned to food, as they often do on Morning Bull.  After trying some very fresh salmon, caught in WNY off of Wilson's shoreline in Lake Ontario, we moved to burgers.

Yes, the "Sudden Death" burger is to be featured at the upcoming New York State Fair, and its name is quite suiting.  The entire thing is deep fried twice over before one attempts to eat the damn thing.  Details inside.

You may have seen the news that there's another Hollywood, big-budget production going on in WNY, "Diary of a Lunatic", a fantasy miniseries produced by Clint Eastwood's daughter.

Even though our phone topic had nothing to do with the show, we still thought snooping on people's diaries would create some hilarity, and boy did you deliver.

In an interesting twist, we took a call from Rick, who immediately regretted reading his father's journal after he passed on.  So it's not just your kids' diaries that you may think twice about opening up, people.

In the back half of today's podcast, it's all about sports.  We check in with NYUP.com's Matt Parrino, an up and coming Buffalo Bills beat reporter.

He gives us the latest from Bills camp, as he attended the first 4 workouts.  Should fans be excited or cautious about Josh Allen's early success at practice?  Matt gives us his take.
