Morning Bull has some fun with the latest viral music challenge, connecting the #1 Billboard song at your 12th birthday to your current life.

 

Apparently, so says Twitter, that the song that was #1 when you were 12 is your "life theme".  You're gonna definitely wanna find out where Bull, Chris and Steve fall in this category.

 

"The Machine" Bert Kreischer checks in, about 2 months from his appearance at UBCFA.  Besides from growing his own weed, he just happens to be in Buffalo the day before the Bills host the Dolphins.  Can we get him to tailgate with us on October 21st?  Stay tuned.

 

And wrapping up today's show is a viral story from Tennessee, where a random personal ad for a lonely Tennessee Volunteers fan took the internet by storm.

Dane Cook joins the show for the first time. He was gentle.  The first "internet comic" to break mainstream is back on the road this fall.  Dane's headlining Seneca Niagara Casino next month, in fact!

 

Corinne Fox, daughter of Jamie Foxx, is breaking into acting of her own, starring in the buzzing horror/suspense flick "47 Meters Down: Uncaged", in theaters now.  She talked about growing up "Foxx", and if its a benefit or detriment to being the daughter of a famous celebrity.

 

And making her Morning Bull and 97 Rock debut was WIVB sports reporter Jenna Harner.  The lovely and talented Jenna's been on the channel 4 sports desk for about a year, so we decided it was a good time to get her in front of our mics for a little Buffalo sports chat.

Jenna talks the ongoing preseason, including how much stock we should all put into a promising performance from Josh Allen, growing up a Bruins and Giants fan, and if the Sabres will be genuinely improved from last season.

Willie Nile, Buffalo's Americana native son, was there as a young man.  He gives us his memories of what it was like to be among the 500,000 people in attendance at that fateful farm fifty years ago.

 

Buffalo News rock music critic Jeff Miers shares his historical perspective on Woodstock, chatting in studio on a killer piece he wrote on the anniversary for the newspaper.  He and Bull are also in the midst of judging the ongoing Borderland Battle of the Bands, and are at Sportsman's Tavern this Sunday for a semi-final show.

Speaking of drinking, something the entire Morning Bull crew do well, Rob investigates the hard seltzer trend, and shockingly, is unimpressed.  Steve defends the hard seltzer trend, because of course he does.

 

Since Miley Cyrus reportedly left her husband for another woman, it reminded Rob of the time the very same thing happened to him. 

 

And for an update on Bills and Panthers "joint practices", we checked in with Josh Reed from WIVB.

Bull gets to lead off gloating on #InternationalLeftHandedDay, as he's the only one with that particular hand dominance on the show.

 

Morning Bull caught up with Bills tackle Ty Nsekhe on the heels of the team's joint practice sessions with the Carolina Panthers.

 

Buffalo's in Spartanburg, SC this week, grinding in the sun against head coach Sean McDermott's former employers.  They'll face Carolina in preseason week 2 on Friday.

 

Did you know Chase Bank of Canada is ceasing operations, so they're voiding all Canadian Chase credit card debt?  Man, it pays to be a Canuck in more ways than one.

 

While it's not quite as sweet a deal, NYS does keep track of your refund cash that's unclaimed, and we took some calls on lucky Buffalonians who've benefited from money they were owed they didn't even know existed!

 

Wrapping up the podcast is our tie-dye experiment, in studio.  We figured we'd try to dress like hippies did this week, as we approach Woodstock's 50th anniversary.

Bull is back on the podcast aptly titled for his namesake. 

While he really enjoyed his time off, when your vacation home loses electricity, it makes for a less-than-desirable night off.  His first story back is what happened once the lights came back during his vacation.

Adding to western New York's alcoholism problem is the news that UB will sell beer at UB Stadium to all patrons for the first time in program history. 

We took calls from listeners on other occasions where "pregaming" was necessary, since you couldn't drink at the event itself.
